Friends walked in to the theme from "Bombay Dreams" and walked out to "Ain't That A Kick In The Head?". She was ethnic and he was a silly twat. It seemed a decent compromise.

Oi, knobhead, you coming to the pub to watch the game tonight, or what?

You're definitely looked for pianos and lyric free.

I always quite like piano versions of contemporary songs, did that at my wedding while people were waiting. I even had Coldplay (which would appease the bride - always a good idea).

It's a little less formal than the classics as well.

So far, we've got:

Leonard Cohen

Debussy

Satie

Kind of Blue - Miles Davis

Christopher O'Riley

Coleman Hawkins Encounters Ben Webster

Cheers lads

some ennio morricone, some of his 60's compositions were always good ( not the spag western stuff by the way). my 2nd cousin had a couple of tracks on her do and it went down well, mind i was doing the dj'ing so that aways helped!

i'm being serious btw!

What. Can't be arsed to venture beyond the 'hood. Do come and join me on a pub crawl of grotty Millwall pubs in New Cross if you fancy it though. :)
