manc-mag 1
Tache's wife: "oi! Why aren't yow coming to bed, malcolm? Yow better not be wanking over the adult channel freeview!" Tache: "Now, sweetheart, Oim myking anutha funnoi banner, this time it's about the scousers, they'll be fucking devastoited when they see it, just loike the Barcodes, were, ha ha!" Especially this bit. Got his name bang on too Thing is I really want it to be the 'tache bloke's banner now. Tell you what mind, speaking of 'taches, howman's ava is proper sobering stuff. I know that pic from back in the day (I think it's an away match against Ipswich to be precise..) and theres four taches on it. For all the world they could pass for Liverpool fans if they had different tops on. You're spot on, MM, I think there was national football gallery thing and that pic was on with some comment along the lines of 'Some rum Newcastle Utd fans enjoying an away day at Ipswich in the 2nd division'. Loved it when I saw it and got it saved. They could all pass for extra's off a Sid the Sexist cartoon, all that's missing is the can of red stripe in their hands and it could be the Bigg Market circa 1990. The bloke with the black eye just rounds it off for me, not sobering, funny as fuck. I'd seen it had surfaced at that National Football Museum (or some exhibition there, dunno whether it was a permanent exhibition or not). Brilliant photo like as you say, we were bottom of the old second when it was taken. I think the bloke who took it is a Newcastle fan who lives in Cumbria or summat. A professional photographer, his stuff on football grounds is just quality. There's two blokes with black eyes by the way if you get a chance to see the picture again in close up. The younger lad behind the fat bloke had also clearly been involved in a recent heated debate too. Priceless.

Guest Tuco Ramirez
The pic is here along with othershttp://www.homesoffootball.co.uk/collectio...Newcastle/2/223 I bought that pic framed years ago when I was at Widemere. Absolutely class pic. See the kid at the back with all the spots on his face I know it sounds a daft thing to say but you don't see spots that big these days. They were all the rage when I was at school. Edited September 1, 2010 by Tuco Ramirez

The shop is in Windemere town it's literally about 200 yards from where the lake starts, you go in and there's 1000s of pictures on two levels its a total shrine to football was expensive though iirc, can't mind how much the pic was but it weren't cheap. I remember when I went there they had a table of visits by supports by various clubs (I'm not making this up anyone who's been will tell you, and it's in their brochure went something along the lines of. 1 Newcastle 2 Man Utd 3 Liverpool 4 Sunderland 5 Rangers... That kid next to her is desparate for someone to hug like you can tell. Clearly gutted as he's turned round only to find the bushpig though and is sensibly keeping his distance.
