Kevin 1
How'd you normally get to school? surely you can get them yourself! Bus. The buses here come every hour so i'd be waiting outside school for an hour when i get them So you'd rather wait a day or two instead? Yes I'd rather wait til tomorrow. If it's posted tomorrow, you will have to wait at least until Friday then! Get your lazy arse up to the school, waste 10 minutes in a queue, read them for a few minutes, have a bit banter with your mates that you will most likely see there, then the bus will be ready to take you home just in time for tea and crumpets. peasepud 59
I did politics a-level. Fucking horrendous. Horrible isn't it did you do it in upper 6th aswell? I'm dropping it this year. Upper 6th? Is it different over there like? The upper 6th was the year you took the exams, there was nowt at school after the A levels???? At least not in my time.... Oh and Id imagine its dropping you for next year with that result not the other way round.

Add them together, bingo. It's the same over here as it is in England btw. 2. No, i tried to drop it before halloween but the stuck up cunts wouldn't let me, tried dropping it at christmas, still wasn't allowed. Then i just gave up. It wasn't hard. I fucking despised the subject, despised the teachers, didn't want to do it, didn't choose it. When I did A levels, you did a two year course, sat 2-3 three hour written exams (no course work), and that was that. If you failed, you resat the year (but the better universities wouldn't be interested in you if you failed first time), or you did something else. No wonder there's grade inflation if you can keep taking modules until you get an A.
Andrew 4872
thats pretty much it renton, aside from getting to take them over and over mind, you get a second chance for your ASs though since you have a year left in the college system and your AS grades arent actually finally submitted til you finish the whole 2 year course

If I get 64% i get a B, so if i dont get that 64% i'm allowed to repeat it in january to get that grade, uni's don't see that you repeated though so they base it on your AS grades, not the repeated ones, so its best to pass first time round. Don't like politics, forced into it, didn't work, didn't pay attention, took the hand on my exam. It's a fail. Are you shitting me I thought it was a pass It also doesn't exist any more Kevin.... The passing grades for A-levels are A*, A, B, C, D and E. The A* grade was introduced in September 2008 for higher education entry in 2010, and is awarded to candidates who achieve a score of at least 90% at A2 and achieved an A at AS level. There is no A* grade at AS or unit level. There was formerly an O grade, awarded to candidates who did not pass the advanced level exam, but were deemed to have attained a standard equivalent to ordinary level (O level). Grade F indicated a complete failure. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GCE_Advanced_Level Grades and marks Grades AS and A levels are graded A-E. An A* grade will be first awarded at A level in 2010. The results are announced in August and March. http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLe...ned/DG_10039018
