My point was that our politics are intrinsically linked to the psychology of the human condition.

 

Picking up on your point, i think you are right about some religious people being so entrenched in their world view they become unsymapthetic (or even aggressive) towards those who dont share it. Its a by-product of the world view.

 

To be honest though, am not sure we'll get an argument out of this, so i've bumped the Obama thread
