sammynb 3355
Can't argue Something I found interesting that was mentioned in the tv coverage is the fact Newcastle currently has the worst discipinary record in the premier league! Has anyone else considered the fact that because of the way Souness constantly blames referees for bad decisions that "cost us the game" and our current "proper" player performances in leading the yellow cards for the season so far, that it is being reflected in official's decisions against Newcastle? (Wasn't there also a stat that whilst Souness was in charge of rovers they never won a penalty decision?)

BTW I've seen this ref a few times, as far as they go he does a better job than most.
Bombadil 0
Sums up my feelings perfectly. I'm still furious and in a way, True Faith are right when they say that this was the worst defeat of the season. We will not qualify for Europe now. maggiespaws 0
I'd go with TF match report as well actually. We didn't actually look like we could win it much at all yesterday. Yes we were unlucky with those decisions (decisions which to be fair would have changed the game), but we should still be able to beat Everton. I thought Baba had a swipe taken at him by Cahil first to be honest and Cahil went crying to the ref after Baba gave him one back (but not before he had another swipe a Baba). I also thought the ref was a little lenient on some of the Everton tackles but all over ours. Still, regardless of all of that we should have been able to beat Everton - even with Super Shola in the team.
