Anelka is a vastly better footballer than N'Zogbia. You evidently didn't read my post properly.

Robert was worth the hassle (and immensely more talented than N'Zogbia) , he was driven out and went to the might Portsmouth during the Halls and Shepherd era.

You were lucky if you got 10 minutes of Robert's brilliant potential in the space of 4 or 5 games. Without question the most frustrating player we've had in the last 30 years.

I don't know about that. Vast potential, largely unfulfulled. We have had others like this, and he produced more than a lot of them, but that is because he was well managed by a great man manager.

 

I don't usually have time for the likes of Tino Asprilla and Jinky Jim Smith. I suppose players like Ginola would not be added to this list because we actually did see him at his magnificent best even if it was for only about 6 months.

 

I do think that N'Zogbia is wasting his career though, like Kieron Dyer has also done even allowing for him being injury prone. I'll give you that and he won't realise it until he is older unless he can find the right manager or club for himself.

If I was a premiership manager, I would buy N'Zogbia and try to get the best out of him that's all.
