Tom 14013
I like to see Huddersfield Town do well. One of my best mates is a fan and I went to a match after agreeing to do so whilst drunk the day before. I awoke still pissed, dressed as best I could and went on to see Huddersfield beat Bradford 2-0. Been to a few games since when I'm visiting, canny club and a big modern ground. Howmanheyman 33819
I just don't get this 'other team' thing.* I once worked with a lad from Spennymoor who 'supported' Man Utd but got a half season ticket from his wife for the mackems and he was pleased with it as he said he liked them as well! When asked who he wanted when they played each other the answer was Man U. *Then again, I'm from Newcastle so support Newcastle United, seems pretty straight forward to me. All other clubs, their players, and fans are cunts to some degree or other in my eyes. It's a sliding scale of cuntishness, so if I'm watching a neutral game I want the less cunty team to win. Sorry Cath.
Guest alex
Newcastle Chelsea and Linfield Is there some sort of connection between Rangers and Chelsea? My mate seems to think so though I've never heard of it. Hooligan connection I believe. Probably not so much now like but they both love a bit of the old 'no surrender...' shite. Guest Tuco Ramirez
Newcastle Chelsea and Linfield Is there some sort of connection between Rangers and Chelsea? My mate seems to think so though I've never heard of it. Hooligan connection I believe. Probably not so much now like but they both love a bit of the old 'no surrender...' shite. Not so much a hooligan connection as a loyalist one. In the late 80's Chelsea played Rangers in a friendly was a time when the NF and Combat 18 were heavily linked with Chelsea, and both organisations prime enemies were Ireland and the IRA so a bond was formed. They forged links with Rangers and Linfield, both sides have strong hardcore loyalist supports, and collectively they call themselves "Blues Brothers", most Chelsea I know play it right down now, and just think they're jock cunts, but if you take a stroll round Belfast you'll see as many Chelsea tops as any other team these days, was certainly the case when I was there in 2004. There's a youtube of the Rangers v Chelsea friendly underneath the stands last year where both sets are singing British and loyalist songs, and No Surrender to the IRA.
