Bears, woods, s*** That's the kind of response I've argued against from Kunt, so I don't accept it in this instance either. Just because information is available in some form if you hunt for it, it doesn't mean there's no value (or risk) in compiling it all together and showing that the government recognise it. Ken 119
The question was, did I get my O Levels, was it Parklife? No. You've got to be in the UK to acheive that, don't you? My countries of education consisted the US, Australia and Japan (Japan being more work experienced based though as part of my education in Australia). I hope that clears things up. I deleted the post cause it was fatuous and playful. Relax bro. Ah, well I feel a little fatuous tonight tbh. Been a long day of heavy drinking and I shouldn't be trying to 'keep up' so to speak on these topics. I'll bid you good night right after I do so with Spike. ah. But you still won't tell us who you are on another site yourself ? What do you have to hide "Ken" ? Why is that so important to you, me revealing a username that is? And what if the answer sinks you into your electric-massaged chair, and has you slumped over, eh? Who was it that caused such a fuss in another thread about confidentiality? Once again... the ironing. Edited December 6, 2010 by Ken

As I said to Fish, if you think "confidentiality" when speaking of a persons real name or what they do in their private life, extends to revealing "other" usernames on fuckin message board, then you are a tool of the highest order. But I guessed that already. So, kindly fuck off back to Newcastle Online and don't bother referring to me by my username on there, unless you reveal your own. Stupid arsehole. ohhh_yeah 2965
you do spend your life raking around for this sort of thing don't you No, I have a twitter list that links me to many items that might amuse or interest me in the world of current affairs. There's zero raking involved my friend. Here's the list if you'd like to follow it too.... http://twitter.com/#!/MikeAshleyLies/news how much time do you spend doing this ? Reading the news? Maybe an hour a day. Love the way you see actually reading the news as a reason to fault someone. Strange that you deem it necessary to actually go to the match to have an opinion on that though. i find it strange that you follow yourself on that list... Analysis Jonathan Marcus BBC diplomatic correspondent While the US and some of its Nato allies are eager to take on wider challenges and a more global role, a number of Nato's central European members are more concerned about the potential threat from an old enemy - Russia. The small Baltic states in particular have long argued to be included in Nato's contingency planning to meet any resurgent Russian threat. A cable from January confirms that "Eagle Guardian" - the code-name for plans for the reinforcement and defence of Poland - are to be expanded to encompass Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. But this and a related cable make it clear that Washington wanted no public discussion of this decision, largely it seems for fear of upsetting Moscow at a time when its support was needed on crucial diplomatic issues like Iran. Kevin S. Assilleekunt 1
"the ineffective new media who are entirely subservient to the ruling class, more interested in towing the line in order to get access for the next story" "Too much of the media (just about all TV news and newspapers) is about balance nowadays, there is no truth according to them, just what the right say and what the left say, that's why a lot of the coverage concentrates on Wikileaks the organisation and Assange the man rather than the leaked info...they can invite on a guest to show support and a guest to rage against them and have it out on air, providing the illusion of any debate whatsoever about the real issue. The truth of the leaks themselves gets almost entirely relegated from the agenda. Can you imagine a newsman just doing a piece to camera where he lists the facts revealed in the leaks? I've not seen it."" I've already responded to this, but seeing as you didn't take up my response I will add this: I think what we have seen is that we do have a free press in this country, and your assessment of a media being 'entirely subservient to the ruling class' is way off. If that was the case there would be no analysis of the leaks at all, whereas in actual fact there has been plenty. The press has not had access to this kind of information before because they could not guarantee the service that Wikileaks provides to whistleblowers, it would be nigh-on impossible to provide that service as a newspaper organization tbh. In the second quote you are referring a lot to TV news, and it is true that the TV coverage regarding WL has been facile, but that is the nature of TV news. They're aiming to get ratings, and in-depth analysis of classified documents is boring and of no interest to the average viewer. I'm not entirely sure what Wikileak's arrangement is with the Guardian/Die Speigel etc but they appear to get first access to the leaks or something like that. Could someone clarify?
