Happy Face 29
Needs a bit of time. Can't judge him on one game. He was shit v PSV too wasn't he? I wasn't there but my mate said he was run ragged and the match report said "the challenge by Perch that led to Eindhoven's opener would probably have seen United reduced to ten men in a competitive situation"
OTF 7295
Agree he looked quite poor. When he moved to our left they had a field day down that side. Ryan Taylor as poor a defender as he is can put a cross in, and pops up with the odd goal. If Perch doesn't improve drastically as much as it pains me to say I'd stick Raylor there. Agree about Steven Taylor he's looked good at RB... Doesn't mind a gallop down he pitch to be a nuisance in the opposing box.
ChezGiven 0
Give him until Christmas at least. Enrique was written off during his first period of games for the club, so best to be bit more circumspect before dismissing his value to the side. Only saw the Rangers game and he did look positionally suspect but a bit of leeway is needed. As a young player stepping up to a big club and the top flight, he is going to need a period to settle and some encouragement and support.

Maybe the plan was to play Taylor ahead of him anyways.
khay 10
All for giving him time like. just not that impressed so far. All way's thought Jose looked good.
Barney 0
Jose at home to Wigan in our last PL year was a disgrace. I don't think he succesfully completed more than 5 passes.
Papa Lazaru 0
All for giving him time like. just not that impressed so far. All way's thought Jose looked good. Thought Enrique looked quality from day one and i stuck by that throughout his time in the prem, with Perch though i've always ben worried. When you read the forest fans comments, they weren't in any way bitter about him leaving, in fact they nearly all liked the bloke and his effort, so i took what they said to be honest appraisals and they by and large thought he wasn't really good enough for the top end of the championship, never mind the prem. I hope its wrong and the lad does a top job for us, but i think RB will be a problem as he might struggle, Raylor is never a prem player and Simpson i don't think will be quite good enough. I actually wanted Saylor at RB out of what we have as i think he's put in some good games there, then he got injured.
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Perch's positional play was woeful on Saturday. His pace got him out of trouble a couple of times against Whittaker (a RB playing LW because of injuries). He won't get away with that in the Prem. Guest alex
It seems people have forgotten how appalling Saylor is at RB... Not sure what you're basing that on but while he's looked shaky there when he's played there as a one-off I think the only time he's looked like a decent PL defender is the spell when he played full-back after Xmas in the season we went down. I'm basing it on the fact that he can't play as a full back. Whenever I've watched him play there, he's been absolutely gash. It's not his fault like, he's a CB by trade and it shows. It was clear he had great technique and pace from the first game I saw him in. He was written off by loads of fans by the end of September in his first season though. Not in any was suggesting that they are comparable players.

Gejon 2
Perch has played 3 games at a time when fitness is the main priority, he also looked pretty good against Deportivo apart from one rash challenge early on. It's mental how quickly players get written off these days.

Giving our small squad he will get plenty of chances to win the faithful over.
Deano 0
I too dont think Perch looks much good but its true that he needs time to settle so time will tell. In my opinion i actually quite like Simpson and think he will turn out to be a pretty good RB.
