Guest Gordon McKeag
I know some do. I think there's no point in being homophobic. Just Julian Clary types well you know, with the camp voices, you think just fuckin talk normal. They'll love the Everton away top.
NJS 4385
If you think about it London is a proper football area. Just supposing there are 1.2m gay people in London. That would leave only 5.8m who aren't gay. 2.9m of them will be women, so that leaves 2.9m potential football fans. 300,000 people watch regular football in London, so that's like 1 in 9 almost, probably a better ratio than us. No one can deny it's a proper football city. But taking just Newcastle or London population wise as your base you're distorting the figures - given that thousands travel from outside the area you have to count that as a factor - even if you took Berwick to Teesside as NUFC and the other clubs area, its tiny compared to adding the home counties to London. London has 2 big clubs, 4 medium sized clubs, and 7 smaller clubs. The North East has 1 big club, 1 medium sized club and 3 small clubs. I still think they do ok. Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Moat was a legend. I’d never met him but I loved him Published: Today DELUDED fans of cop-hating Raoul Moat turned up uninvited at his funeral yesterday to pay their own twisted tributes. Jobless mum-of-eight Theresa Bystram, 45, took three teenage sons on a 300-mile coach trip so they could pay homage. Theresa, wearing a Chelsea shirt bearing the badge of the Headhunters football thugs, said: "Raoul was a legend, a hero. I absolutely loved him. I never met him but we followed his plight and prayed he wouldn't get caught." Theresa, of Weybridge, Surrey, added: "We're not related but something in my head told me to come today. I'm glad I did. "He kept them coppers on the run all that time. Fair enough, people died. But they must have deserved it." Unemployed Kenneth Ingham and Peter Hefferin, both 18, said they felt sorry for Moat. Kenneth said: "I'd have done the same thing if I was in jail and my lass cheated on me." Moat shot himself dead in Rothbury, Northumberland, after a stand-off with cops. He was on the run after wounding his ex-lover, killing her new boyfriend and shooting a policeman in the face. Pure. Fucking. Scum.
