Kevin 1
Speaking of such. I'm in Belfast ATM and was in Armagh earlier today. I see all the flags and painted lamp posts are back? Things getting dodgy again huh? They didn't go anywhere in the first place As long as i remember Armagh and Derry etc. have always been full of flags and painted foot pavements etc.

Prob coincidence. But, did also notice main news here today was about that theme of stuff. First four or so pages of Irish newspaper. Mind, as a bonus I found a cracking cafe, The Pump House in Belfast. now that was a breakfast

Kevin 1
Flags everywhere in the shitty streets/areas around here. In the protestant part is usually the worst, ever pavement is painted and every lampost has either a union jack or a NI flag and murals everywhere. ewerk 30682
Do Northern Irish protestants support the Northern Irish international side and Northern Irish Catholics support the Republic side? Generally, yes. For a long time Windsor Park wasn't a place to go if you were a Catholic, it's not so bad now but it's a bit late to be changing allegiances. Is that why Neil lennon got grief for playing for N.Ireland?
ewerk 30682
It wasn't so much playing for N. Ireland, it was when he became Celtic captain that he got a lot of shit but even that was from a minority of fans iirc.
Billy Castell 0
I wonder what reaction I'd get if I lived in N.I. and I painted a mural on my house that was unrelated to secretatrianism in any way. Something like a jungle scene with various animals like Tapirs, or whatever. I never understood the need to have those marches myself. It's like going around saying "my ancestors killed your ancestors, 1-0." Anyway, I'd love someone to paint a big ronald McDonald on Kevin's house.
