Gemmill 44864
Aye I can't think of any app that I can't get cos it's only available on Apple. I'm not saying they don't exist. I'm saying there's none that I want that exist. All the major stuff exists on both.
Happy Face 29
I've not noticed any difference except apps look better on a OneX screen. Less choice perhaps. both have about 700,000 apps on their respective stores. Both have about 50 worth having
Kid Dynamite 7025
Aye I can't think of any app that I can't get cos it's only available on Apple. I'm not saying they don't exist. I'm saying there's none that I want that exist. All the major stuff exists on both. Im not saying you cant get them, im saying that side by side the Apple apps are always superior. They are nearly always developed and released firsr on iOs too due to the difficulties in getting apps to work across every android handset. Instagram, Temple Run, Fruit Ninja, Sky Go etc. All faster and more stable in Apple handsets. Im saying this as someone whose last 3 contracts have been on Android handsets. Happy Face 29
Seems strange to be praising the invariably better quality apps available through Apple when they've just had a load of negative pulicity on the back of buggy apps on ios6. Kid Dynamite 7025
I've not used any apps on ios6, my comparison was using apps on ios5. But android 4.0.4 has well and truly fucked my phone. Freezes twice a day every day and has borked it's own hands free connectivity so Android is not exactly fault free itself

Tooj 17
My dad's Nexus 7 has arrived, it's a Christmas present for him for me and my sister so I'm going to pre-load it with Apps for him. Can anybody give me a brief summary of what the best ones out there are? Also what's best for Twitter, Facebook etc as he uses them quite a bit. Gemmill 44864
Twitter, I would just use the stock Twitter app. Friendster is better than the standard Facebook app IMO, but I'm not a heavy FB user. If he likes his music, you could sign him up to Google Play Music and get all his music uploaded to the cloud, so he's got that done when you hand the thing over.
