Sonatine 11714
Frank Sidebottom creator dies Chris Sievey - the man behind comic creation Frank Sidebottom - has died after collapsing at his home. Known for his over-sized, papier-mache head, Frank found fame through a series of TV appearances in the 1980s and remained a popular cult comedy figure. He died aged 54 after being taken to hospital from his home in Hale, Cheshire, shortly after 1am on Monday morning. He had been recovering from treatment to a tumour to his chest, his agent Nigel Round said. Gone to the papier-mâché dustbin in the sky.
