Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Used to have a full separates system, but I've got a little Denon micro system now. It would be the business if I had an outdoor fm aerial.

It does to a bit of wire taped to the wall. DAB reception is patchy where I live so can't fully convert yet.

Now I just use the PC. I haven't turned my tuner on for at least a year, I also have the wire wrapped around the curtain rail

NJS 4446
I used to have some decent Technics separates years ago (in fact I still have them but don't use them) - I bought the Amp with my first month's wages so will keep it for nostalgias sake now. I moved onto a more home cinema style set up - haven't got a turntable, tuner or cassette deck attached any more. My AV setup now is: Yamaha AX-1 AV amp/receiver Jamo front speakers and subwoofer Tannoy surround front and rear speakers Sky HD (just upgraded to a 1TB disk) Divco Tvix media player Hauppaugge HD PVR Home built PC Sony BD-367 Blu-ray player Sony VCR LG 60PK790 Plasma (my latest acquisition)
NJS 4446
Incidentally the drop in prices in this area is phenomenal - my amp cost nearly 2k 9 years ago but one that will do the same now costs about £400.
