Rob W 0
Bump - was he even on the pitch last night?
Holden McGroin 6785
Yeah, smashed a 25 yarder just wide and set SWP clean through. Hoofing it up to Heskey and hoping he can flick it on the general direction of Rooney isnt really playing to his strengths though.
Park Life 71
Rooney will be to 2010 as Maradonna was to 1986. [/Parkyesque hopeful speculation]

Rob W 0
Even the FA reckon that game doesn't count...................... I'm sure he's scored a load in practice 'naall but that doesn't change the facts that in competition he's off the pace right now

Rob W 0
I wish I could be happy to be proved right but that was truly a dire performance last night Rooney looked totally knackered - too many games IMHO

Holden McGroin 6785
He looks unfit to me. Apparently some journo on twitter (that has inside info) said he struggled last night because he coulldnt see the ball in the floodlights.
Sonatine 11572
He does have piggy eyes tbf The fact that Taggart rushed him back from that injury to try and keep the Mancs in with a shout of winning the Prem probably hasn't helped him, no wonder his hairline seems to recede every other game. Holden McGroin 6785
tbh I actually struggle a bit when the ball is in floodlights. However, i have only ever played in tinpot grounds with 4 big floodlights! But yes, its a shit excuse.

Nyff 0
He just doesn't look interested. Isn't going in for the balls like he used to, and he just waits for them to come to him. Cappello should make a bold move and start Defoe in his place next game.
Papa Lazaru 0
He's a cheeky little twat crying about being booed. He should be grateful that he isn't still getting booed for costing us the last world cup Unlike Beckham he got away with it solely because Ronaldo did the wink and gave eveyone a different hate figure to focus on instead, it saved Rooney from a load of stick. So far its not just that his play and particularly his control have been shit its that he is barely trying and looks like he couldn't give a shit which is the oppositte of how he usually is.
