Thing is, it's made out like all is lost for Labour but the Tories only managed a small majority against Ed Miliband. Depends how it plays out in the press though, as you suggest. It'll be all about the UK being taken back to the 70s and all that. But everyone from Blair, Campbell and the right wing press being against Corbyn makes me think he genuinely has something to offer.

This lot are bricking it...

One for CT to get one paragraph into, glaze over and come back and type "Get real " to.

I got two or three in. ;)

The bottom line is this. Labour rattling on about who was to blame for the crash is equivalent to Leazes Mag rattling on about Shepherd. Voters don't give a fuck now and will give even less of a fuck in 2020.

That horse has well and truly bolted.

The bottom line is that you didn't understand a word of what you just read so you're resorting to tabloid interpretations of the world.

I shall explain this to him through the interpretative medium of gif.

The Dog is Tubs

The box is his grasp of politics.

The result is ....

and if he doesn't get in, how many will be looking for an alternative party that actually represents them?

Depends what your after. Plenty of people will promise you the world but never deliver. Libs did it for years.

The only way any change comes is by being the government and the only way that's going to work is by getting the economics spot on. The Tories are doing the "nasty work" of reducing the state, sorting out pensions the country can afford and "sorting out" welfare. A switched on Labour Party should have its eye on 2020 knowing a lot of the high expenditure has been reigned in, allowing it to spend a bit more on popular left policies.

Ie, manage the economy well and sneak a few things through each parliament whether that's nationalisation of the railways or whatever other policies are in the lefty top five.

Simply going whole scale lefty is simply going to scare away the voters who elect governments.

A switched on Labour leader should be able to get the balance spot on for 2020.

You only need to have a look at the Telegraph's daily articles about what a disaster Corbyn would be to know that something about him is worrying the right. I suspect it's the possibility of a Labour Party with an actual identity.

People over 50 in mid/southern England are effectively running the country. Dark ages doesn't cover it. England for a long time led the world in free healthcare, education and a strong social framework and it will again.

Being Tory lite has failed twice against a pudding of a cunt - electing another fucking pudding is a waste of time.

Picked the wrong Miliband. David would have won it. Harriet too.

And they weren't Tory lite. They opposed all the cuts and had no vision. No inspiration.

None of the current mob are worthy leaders. Best they can hope for is a caretaker who can hold the reigns til the SAS fella is ready or Chukkas balls drop.

Chukka is Tory lite.

It might be painful in the short term but England need a real left alternative and a real left alternative is the only one that has a chance to get Scotland back.

The Tory party is that weak on vision UKIP had it lurching to the right on immigration and europe.

Nope they planned to cut the deficit by lesser austerity - as you've pointed out yourself many times.

I agree on no vision - that's the point and the the other 3 cunts plus the black bloke have none either apart from more of the same tory lite bollocks.

Scotland's gone Parky. Next time the referendum comes around (won't be long) it will be independent.
