wykikitoon 20702
Fucking raging this morning. Contractor who I have been battling with on a job has sent a right CUNT of an email trying to be the big man and cc'd in the client. I tried to call him, he didn't answer. So I emailed asking if we could speak when he was free. Just emailed him straight. He replied instantly and again cc'd in the client saying he said all he needed to on the email and anything I need to say to reply all on the email and not take people off. So I did and pointed to several things he has done wrong, he called me instantly Which, of course I ignored. The client then called me, which I answered and we had a good chat, he's now going to call contractor cunt and have a go at him

PaddockLad 17639
Mood is heartbroken. Got to put our healthy 3 year old dog down, his behaviour has deteriorated and he’s started regularly biting people. Yesterday he bit his walker which is the final straw. Poor animal has been wracked with anxiety from the word go really, we’ve spoken to a behaviourist regularly in the last two years and nothing that’s been suggested has worked. We’re up 2/3/4 times a night with him, doesn’t matter what we do, cage, on the bed, regardless of where he goes down he wakes up and either howls the house down or runs down stairs and barks till he’s let out for a “patrol”. The biting comes from resource guarding, he also has issues with separation anxiety . He needs constant reassurance and when he gets it he’s very loving back but he now can’t be trusted. He’s mostly just gone for us but we’ve not been able to leave him with our in laws because he’s nipped them and is rotten to their dog. Looks like it might Friday 😞
Gemmill 45988
Ah man PL, I'm really sorry to hear that. Horrible decision to have to make, especially for an otherwise young and healthy dog. I'm sure you've tried your absolute best to send things in a better direction.
ewerk 31193
Nothing much else you can do PL. A dog becomes part of the family but ultimately you have to think of the safety of the people around you. Not your fault or the dog’s fault, just the way he’s built. A really shit situation for you and most importantly the dog.

sammynb 3507
@PaddockLad mate that terrible news and I don't doubt you've looked at every option. Is there any chance there is somewhere that can take him? A dog refuge or maybe a farm/property that works dogs with behaviour/pack issues? Have you seen this? https://cbtdogbehaviour.com/where-to-surrender-an-aggressive-dog/ The pain thing as a cause is interesting. A lot of dog behaviour "specialists," especially the TV ones like to put them on sedatives but it doesn't fix the issues and people end up with a dog that is just there but missing. Hope you and the semi permanent are okay. Edited November 28 by sammynb
Monkeys Fist 43050
What a horrible situation PL. Is putting him in a no-kill rescue centre an option or not? Either way, you’re losing the little fella which is going to be rough.
Renton 21974
In a can't be arsed mood, which is most days nowadays. Spend far too much time doing unproductive stuff I shouldn't, one activity of which is just looking on Rightmove. Saw this property which would be just about feasible for me, in terms of costs. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/145189766#/?channel=RES_BUY Then I realise know way could I be arsed to do the actual work involved with running an establishment like this. Looks lovely though, not far from Calgary beach which is as beautiful as it gets. Maybe just stick to plan B and buy somewhere smaller around here when I retire. Hope I can still walk by then. Sigh. Howmanheyman 33813
I'm now in new job after a week, I should be ok but it can be a bit physical at times, could do with it being a bit lighter but everything seems to be ok so far other than that so I'll just plod on for now. (Feel free to FYP with differing plodding on periods). But work to 67 onwards, aye? Edited November 29 by Howmanheyman
