I'm feeling a little nervous.

Had a random call from Carluccio's today and subsequently had an impromptu 20-minute interview for the grad job I'd applied for in Jan.

Really hope I get it, not sure I gave the best interview but fingers crossed eh?

Nervous as well - I've got a phone interview at 19:30 for a fuck off job.

How did it go?

Quite well - I'm a perfectionist so obsessed on one question I struggled on but otherwise it was fine.

Finshed just in time for kick-off as well - the bastards.

Hungowa today like, but in a canny mood. It's years and years since I felt as content as I do now, the next 12 months are ganna be mint in so many different ways, there's actually a few things went wrong in January but when you start putting things in to perspective, in the bigger picture, everything is going well - 2011 is ganna mint year :nufc: and I think 2012 could be even better.

You on the pills?

NUFC will soon have you crashing down to earth, make no mistake.

 The pills? Nar, just lots of things going right for me, especially money wise. You know what Tecato regarding NUFC, I'm immune to it now, honestly I am, I just think aye whatever. Seen worse days than these, far, far, far worse. In fact to tell you the truth I think this season is my 7th or 8th favourite ever.

I've been overpaid by about 300 quid today as well, in a dilemma whether to pipe down or tell them.

"We've overpaid you £371 today, we'll just deduct it from next months salary" :( good while it lasted.

What facet of the Construction industry are you in mate, main contracting? Bricks and Mortar? M&E? FM? The worst thing about a cv is if an employer see's it and there's like 8 companies in the last 10 years. Most won't touch you, if you have a good background and stability, there's no reason why you can't be placed though. I'll tell you now though the NE is fucking dead right now, I've got two big vacs on Tyneside right now, an estimating role I can find no cunt for cos they're paying a paltry 28k when it's a 40k position, and QS role. If you'd work outside the NE, and you're in my facet I could help you, certainly do sniffing anyway. I can't go in depth now cos am working, finish at 7, I'll concentrate on you then and see what I can do.

Thats the UK tbh. Few bits and bats about. Spoke to my mate who runs an agency in Yorkshire he said its dead. Something decent comes up every now and then but not much :(

Got 3 belters today :icon_lol: Absolute belters :)

Yorkshire though they might as well put the CLOSED sign up as soon as you get to Ferrybridge Services, nothing at all there at the moment.

Bah thats pants.

Aye, we thankfully are busy, most of our big work is out of Yorkshire though. Hard hard times man :(

Chin up. Lots of little signs once the financial year is sorted in April that it could be boom time again. Lot of companies have got work starting in the late summer/autumn.

Pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty... pretty... pretty good. Sweltering day, and now night. Would you believe it was 30 degrees celcius at 4:00am two nights ago.?!?

Fucking hell man.

Reasonable, despite spending last night in the company of Fulham fans in the home end. "We've got Damien Duff, I said we've got Damien Duff" FFS.

It's got to be the most inert away ground i've been to . Did you spot Hugh Grant leading a hokey-kokey at full time ?

you should have got yourself seats in the neutral end man, it's 80 per cent geordies and 20 per cent yank tourists. the majority are stood up and singing

Aye, I've been in the away end the last few times but this was a last-minute thing and a season ticket holder offered to get us tickets, so why not. There were plenty of our lot in our section, including in the row behind, so it makes you wonder how many die-hard fans they really have. Particularly since they were still advertising free seats for next week's Chelsea "derby" at full-time

Sounds more like he was sat with Fred Elliott than Hugh Grant.
