Ayatollah Hermione 13867
It's a right bastard losing your wallet, I did a couple of months ago and I've still not got all my cards sorted yet. It's just an arseache more than anything else ringing everyone up and getting everything fixed.
NJS 4385
Earlier mild anger dissipated after going to the city link depot to collect a parcel which was supposed to arrive 10 days ago to be greeted by queue of about 20 people doing the same. There was a lottery of results such as "We've lost it", "It's out on the van today - you said that yesterday" to a few people actually getting their stuff quite quickly. I turned out to be in the latter group which is good. Â More generally found that xmas eve is officially counted as a holiday by my company now (you can work and get 2 days off) so the day I chucked in for it now covers Wednesday (already off Thursday) so nice 13 day break. Â I would rather have worked throughout and kept the days to reduce my notice period when I do eventually get a new job (the time its taking is REALLY pissing me off) but I'm taking the max over anyway so I've decided to relax and enjoy the break. Howmanheyman 33206
Nah £60 for a new card. Lass on the phone at the NUFC box office says its a fiver or free if stolen and you've got a police number so I'm hoping thats the case.  It's a right bastard losing your wallet, I did a couple of months ago and I've still not got all my cards sorted yet. It's just an arseache more than anything else ringing everyone up and getting everything fixed. I cancelled my cards last night but the driving licence is going to be a pain in the arse and costs £20. I've never had a wallet until september when the wife bought me one for my birthday, I always thought it was a bad idea having a wallet with everything in it in case it went missing. Ever hate being proved right?

I keep having to go back through my family in my head though, in case I've forgotten anyone. It's like being packed for your holidays far too early and thinking you're leaving a load of stuff behind. Jill 0
Reminds me of this cow I used to work with. Made the mistake of asking her what her daughter (who was about 15) was getting for Christmas. "A TV for her bedroom" she replied. I said something along the lines of "nice" and she then continued with "DVD player, dvds, new phone, laptop, clothes, shoes.." and a whole list of things that probably would've covered about 8 Christmasses for most kids. Their kid will end up a spoilt bastard who fails in life. I know so many people who were spoilt as kids and they seem to think life delivers everything to them on a plate even now. Â My two nephews are spoilt rotten they have the best education, four holidays a year, and I went in their spare room the other day and it was like Hamley's fuckin toy store, the kids are only 6 and 3. Â I had to beg for three years to get an AMIGA when I was a kid and when I did get get one everyone had theirs for a year. I used to write a christmas list out and all I ever put on it was one big present, toon home and away tops or England and some football boots. Kids now they know the value of nothing. Tom 14011
I always used to get one big present like and if It was a ''PS3 equivalent'', PS2/1 Megadrive or whatever it was always split between me and my brother. We were always very happy with what we got and we were never dissatisfied. Took a couple of years for that first playstation to arrive like  I haven't asked for anything for ages really as I'm not massively fussed, I like what I get when I get something but I haven't really asked for anything since I was 18 and then I probably asked for it blushing!  I like buying people stuff these days it's probably the most fun. Got class presents for my brother and sister so looking forward to Xmas for that.  Oh and I love the going out

Direct correlation between that and the crippling personal debt we've got in this country.  EDIT: Merry Christmas everyone though. Ayatollah Hermione 13867
I got my Playstation 1 the first year it came out but only managed to have any games because me dad had got it chipped Was well worth it in the end like. Whatever I got, I appreciated and was grateful for and looking back, it's obvious how hard they worked to make sure I had a good Christmas. Me mother can't break that habit like, I've not really asked for anything off them this year other than the odd DVD and she's concerned that she's not gotten me enough. Something decent is normally a Chinese or Indian take away at 9pm, and tonight is no different.
