Howmanheyman 34869
Used to have the 2nd Jan off as a BH when I worked at S&N even though we were in Newcastle.

Kid Dynamite 7381
Been a funny run up to Christmas this year. I had flu last week so was wiped out for 5 days and still not back to baseline. My dad had to start his CLL chemo last week so he's wiped out atm, and my mother has developed a chest infection because god forbid someone in the house is more ill than her. We are spending Christmas lunch at my folks house and I feel like the Christmas spirit may be in short supply! 1
Gemmill 47892
Doesn't sound like the best one, KD. Hope it goes OK and your dad responds well to the chemo.

The chemo will hopefully make him feel better indefinitely and we can get a bit of normality back. The main bit I'm struggling with is the pair of them feel like they've aged 20 years on the last 12 months.
The Fish 11142
I've got no leave left so I'm in every day. On the bright side there's fuck all work on so I'm chilling out 9-5, and when there were two extra mums, and four extra kids tearing around the house I was safely hiding down in the office. On the positive side at least hopefully you yourself are over the worst of the flu, which is really important just for coping with family, young and old. I'm in the Fish boat today. Done literally fuck all. Just monitor e-mails, nudge the mouse occasionally so the green status light comes on, and get paid, all the while having the excuse not to do the family Xmas things. Finally getting in the Xmas mood, 8 days off after today. 🥳
Toonpack 10652
Knackered tbh, up from 01:30 to 4:30 watching the Packers, then up to Druridge lake 10:30 to take his nibs for his swim, thankfully no “stick” found so tennis ball fetch it was : (was totally worth it FOIA)
Howmanheyman 34869
Looks like I've got a cold, nothing serious but I'm sure the same thing happened last Christmas around Christmas eve. It knows when to make an appearance.

Monkeys Fist 44007
I’ve woken up Thurrock services. On the road in half an hour, hopefully home by 11-ish. Merry Christmas lads! 👍

No, I've never been a fanny for stuff like that, TP. (It's bugging me just because of the timing of it's appearance). "Damn you virus! Monkeys Fist 44007
Proud as fuck, tbh. My daughter told me when I picked her up from work this afternoon that she’d been asked to stay on permanently. The only one out of all the temporary Christmas workers. It’s not exactly splitting the atom, but she’s barely 17 and as she said, “Dad, it’ll pay for my gigs and drinks for parties “. She’s honestly a little smasher who makes me so happy- she sorted herself out a college place, has done the same applying to Uni, this is her 3rd job, again, sorted it out entirely off her own bat. Apologies- victory and wine 11
