I am between 8am and 6pm Monday to friday on here on a laptop.

Talking of which, I've been offered a promotion leading a team. Trouble is I'm not interested in leadership and I'm not interested in the speciality the team is doing. Got an awkward meeting with my boss tomorrow. Guess I'll do it whilst continuing my search for my ideal job elsewhere.

Frankly stupendous.

Operation “get mugs to customers” is going well. No nasty messages to attend to. Food shop all done Saturday and presents all done yesterday.

Even better news is my Flu has gone this morning leaving me not only in fine health to enjoy food and presents, but also in good voice to congratulate our lass for achieving all of that without me

I used to look after / record the timesheets for a bunch of IT contractors in a previous job. I totally get the attitude because if you take a day off it’s effectively costing you £500 or whatever. But I always thought it was a bit sad if you were earning a six figure sum but hardly took any leave. Like what’s the point if you can’t enjoy it a bit?
