Renton 21574
Urghhh. First proper day back at work today. E-mail telling me we have had another round of redundancies with three of my work colleagues I get on most with at risk. I've survived again, but its getting like squid games here. 'Kin hell, I need another job quick.

If you're too valued to be at risk of redundancy, you're too qualified not to find something else.

My only concerns are the whole ship sinks in Newcastle or some corporate nonce just sees my salary and thinks it is too large for my official job role (which it is, but I do much, much more). Anyway, its pissing down, leaves are falling off the trees, nights are drawing in, now this. Quite an abrupt end to Summer.

Renton 21574
Well, got the rejection call. Feedback was that I was very close, I had the best written application, they thought the presentation was excellent, but I missed the mark on three questions and there was a better candidate on the day answering these. They recognise my lack of preparation was a major handicap and they recommend I keep on applying. Personally think its daft to choose someone on the basis of 3 questions over accumulated experience over 20 years, but there you go. Oh, they didn't like the lesbian strap-on response, so if I ever post about an up coming interview, please, please remind me not to use this again. 👍 Edited September 5 by Renton

wykikitoon 20112
Just been for some food with the wife as I cba cooking. Sat waiting for dinner and a massive wave of emotion just hit me and I started to cry I read at lunch about Rub Borrow's bairns doing something at the new MND centre in Leeds in tribute at their father. It popped in my head at dinner and I was going to tell the wife and then this emotion just hit me. Fuck me, the menopause has hit me early.
ewerk 30551
We all know you’re a massive fanny but are you sure that’s all it is? Sometimes it can be a buildup of something else. Anyway, I hope the rest of your night goes a bit better. 👍
wykikitoon 20112
Aye, I think it's just been a mad week at work, suddenly got time to relax and it just came out. I hadn't even had any alcohol either Looking forward to the weekend anyways!

wykikitoon 20112
Had a canny weekend. Saturday saw my nephews and had a good laugh then went to friends for dinner where I was a climbing frame for their nippers. Sunday my wife was supposed to do a 10k run but the weather was shocking so she just did a run on the treadmill. I did a couple of hours on the bike and then we just chilled. Shes gone up to Aberdeen today for a few days with work. I have been out on the bike and its beautiful out there. Perfect temp, no wind, lush. I cycled past Bramham Park where they hold Leeds Festival. That was two weeks ago and they're still dismantling the stages etc.

Toonpack 9385
So switched to vodaphone broadband and got a free £100's worth security bundle thing (camera doorbell and couple of mini cameras) had to call them 2 weeks ago as they'd never sent me the redemption code, good easy call and good customer service, code sent to me while I was on call and they waited to make sure it worked ok etc. Kit duly arrived. FFW'd yesterday, email and text with another code, what to do !!!!! (Probably nowt)

They're just a randomly created unique set of numbers that the system generates. If that set isn't used, it doesn't bring about Armageddon or owt, it just assumes some doddery old coffin dodger hasn't done it properly and gets on with its life
