toonotl 2916
Froome needs to get through Dutch Corner yet. They might hoy him off the mountain.
toonotl 2916
Quintana 32s on Froome with 6km to go. Froome's gonna need to go pop for him to do it. Yeah. Having teammates at a time like this is worth its weight in gold.

Gemmill 44090
Gonna be frustratingly close this. Such a shame he didn't attack sooner yesterday, although he probably wouldn't have these legs to say if he had.
toonotl 2916
I don't think Pinot is going to make it.
toonotl 2916
Yeah. Froome's got him by about a minute I reckon.
Gemmill 44090
Tremendous by Quintana. Did he get distanced by crosswinds in the first week? But for that...
toonotl 2916
Quintana gave it a good go. Don't think he could have done much more really. Good on Pinot too. The Frenchies need something to cheer.
toonotl 2916
Tremendous by Quintana. Did he get distanced by crosswinds in the first week? But for that... He did. Can't remember what he lost. Bit over a minute? Close to what the final margin will be anyway. Next year.
Gemmill 44090
1:28 he lost apparently. I mean obviously everything would have played out differently had he not been gapped in that stage, but that would have been enough for him to win it today. toonotl 2916
Damn. That's how it goes though. Got to be good or lucky to avoid mishaps for 3 weeks.
Tooj 17
So has Quintana been on the juice as well then? That is how this shit works isn't it?

toonotl 2916
Good chat everyone. Congrats to Sky and Froome. See you in here again next year. I'm fully expecting wykiki in here in a few days asking if we saw his 'gemmil sux' shirt on the Alpe. Edited July 26, 2015 by toonotl
tinofbeans 91
vuelta is up soon, can't see Froome winning it can we. he must be spent from the tour. Qiuntana/ Valverde perhaps?
Gemmill 44090
They'll be just as knacked surely. Quintana only went a minute slower than Froome over the 3 weeks. When does it start, I've switched off a bit since the Tour?

tinofbeans 91
Gerant Thomas is my tip. what for?, he needs a team built around him i reckon. At the moment its Froome as No1 at sky (rightly) I'd suggest Konigs a better bet for a GT than Thomas in sky's ranks. But not this year as he's already done 2! 22nd august it kicks off. Agree re the tiredness, think the bigger players that did the tour won't be able to do this at the same intensity. Pozzovivo for a podium? (if he stays on his bike).
