If anyone is venturing down the A19 (why would you?!) and is looking for a lush meal then the Seaton Lane Inn is fantastic for food and it's a canny pub too. They do quite a posh a la carte menu in the evenings but their lunchtime menu and Sunday lunches are reasonable priced and delish. We were up there last night (tis my local) and you can chill in the bar and watch the footy or you can sit in the porsh wine bar bit before your meal. Anyway, it's canny.

Stella is one of those beers that goes straight to me head.

LCL Pils always used to do that to me, down the first half of the pint quickly, get a blazing headache until youve finished the pint. Then you're sorted.

Dylans, Lewisham

This bar is as grubby as it looks inside, its a really rough bar but I pass it most nights, had 2 pints there last night, been in loads of times before, and the locals are ridiculously friendly. This is pwopa Landun sahn, where Wist Aym are caants and Miwwaww rule the roost. Never been in on my own before where someone hasn't come and had a conversation with me. Dropped 20 quid on the MOTD machine last night it didn't pay out and the bar manager didn't query it just gave me the 20's. If you leave every ounce of snobbery behind you, and you're in the area have a pint in there. £3 stella aint bad.

Fucking hell, got the bus from outside there as often as I've had hot Greggs. Always looks terrifying tbh, I wouldn't go in there unless I had you to cower behind.

The Ship Inn too.

Heard this is now shut... Can anyone confirm?

Looked shut when I was down there a couple of months ago......

Same here, but I was too pissed to really take stock of the situation. A lass at work mentioned it to me the other day, so I was naturally a bit gutted.

I was last in there around January time and it was deed. When I say deed I mean deed. Me and my father in law wandered in and there was no-one else in at all. This was a Saturday night as well. Felt so sorry for the barman we stayed for a couple, but was a bit embarrassing like.

It was shit the last time I was in. They'd changed it and kill it by the sounds of it. Shades of The Barley Mow (it was never that good like). Speaking of which, Stevie would hate The Cluny

Had my first couple of ventures in The Town Wall before braving the hell that is Gotham Town. Canny pub the Town Wall, if a bit pricey for the old whiskey and cokes.

Aye, it's decent like.

Mr. Scruff decorated as well. ;)
