The Late Shows is once again taking over the streets of NewcastleGatehead as night begins to fall!

 

In 2009 over 15,000 people hit the streets of NewcastleGateshead for a weekend of after-hours culture and this year the North East’s legendary free culture crawl is returning with an even bigger selection of spectacular after-hours culture.

 

Over 35 cultural venues, usually closed in the evening, are opening their doors for a not-to-be-missed weekend in celebration of the international event ‘Museums at Night’.

 

On Friday 15 May nocturnal culture-lovers can warm up their Late Shows weekend with a special evening of events exclusively in the Ouseburn Valley. And as dusk falls on Saturday 15 May all The Late Shows venues will be getting ready for a cultural explosion of interactive events, unique performances one-off activities.

Description:

Experience a unique peek behind the scenes at Newcastle United, see where the players walk out every match and head for the centre circle of the pitch. Don’t miss your chance to capture this glorious moment on film as access to the pitch is not usually allowed to visitors! Before or after, make time for a visit to the club’s museum where snacks and refreshments can be bought whilst surrounded by NUFC memorabilia.
