I was gutted that the talk was £15m would be available for players, now we're learning we've basically got fuck all. We're fucked. I'm sick of Hughton saying the days of big fees are over, fuckin Burnley, Hull and even Stoke have had £5m signings through the door this season, how are we supposed to fucking evolve. Rely on bosmans???? NUFC RIP, I've paid for my season ticket now, and I'm so fuckin stupid as most of you are, I'd still have got it anyway. This situation is beyond, honestly beyond fuckin belief, San Siro to San Provy Shop in 7 short years. All the cynics, and I've tried to stay positive, or at least like Switzerland in World War 2, Peasepud, LeazesMag et al they've been 100% right all along, by god does Christmas Tree look fucking stupid tonight. Yes and no excuses. But putting that to one side, anyone who has any dealings with business, HR or PR can surely not even begin to come to terms with the set out and words in that statement. The small optimism I had for next season was based on the fact that, after being relegated, Ashley would allow Hughton to spend a reasonable amount of cash (~£15 million) if only to protect his investment. I'd always thought he did have vaguely good intentions, but after this I'm firmly in the Leazes Mag corner, if all this comes to pass there's no way back for Ashley and his lot as far as I'm concerned That they've decided to be so monumentally stupid again is beyond belief, and I feel incredibly sorry for Hughton. That’s why they use pseudo technical terms like no new capital outlay, instead of no additional money for new signings, or a sell to buy policy. It’s also why they’ve made it clear they won’t talk to anybody about anything. It leaves everybody floundering around trying to guess what the fuck is going on. Arguing amongst themselves while NUFC sails inexorably towards nowhere. Its classic divide and rule. That said if there is no investment in the squad no amount of confusion will shield Ashley from the storm that’s brewing. We’ll also find out if Hughton is really a good manager with ambition and integrity, or just a puppet who got lucky. My guess is Ahsley is looking to offload the high earners and reinvest some/all of the money this brings in on new players on low wages. Gamble on staying up and use the extra TV money to start paying off the club’s debts. In some ways it’s not the worst idea in the world, but would be a huge gamble. The only thing that's being said that I disagree with is that we're now a certainly for relegation, I think even with the current squad we're as good as or better than Wolves, Bolton, Wigan, West Brom, and the playoff winners. Some of you are tied in to the three year crack, I paid for mine, to "guarantee" my seat on the last day in April, and people would've done the pay for it March cheaper option. The only spor of a positive is this statement was released now and not in July when every fucka has paid for them. I think our gates will be lower than this season.
