If that's the case then surely the club is in administration and should be docked 9 points accordingly. It will never happen but as Toonpack said... Club is only in administration if RBS reckon they've defaulted on the loan and hand out the £60m fine. By the sounds of it, NESV are satisfying RBS and therefore they're likely to extend the deadline until the sale is processed.

They should give full reasons at least why they reached that decision.

shackbleep 0
all this talk about Liverpool and sadly Dundee have gone into administration for a sum that's probably equivalent to Liverpool's legal bill... Dundee administrator removes manager and eight players Manager Gordon Chisholm and his assistant Billy Dodds have been made redundant at Dundee, while up to 10 players are set to lose their jobs. With the First Division club in administration and mired in debt, drastic cuts have been made. Mickael Antoine-Curier, Eric Paton, Njazi Kuqi, Paul McHale, Scott Fox, Colin McMenamin, Charlie Grant and Brian Kerr have been told to leave. And at least two more players could have their contracts terminated. "We're angry and people have to be made accountable," Dodds told BBC Scotland. "We don't have regrets about taking the job but questions need to be answered." Administrator Bryan Jackson has confirmed that Dundee will field a team against Stirling Albion on Saturday. He also said that preventing the club from going out of business will be the toughest challenge he has ever faced. However, Jackson stressed that he would not have undertaken the task if he did not think it was possible. This is the second time in seven years the First Division outfit has entered administration and they could be out of business in four weeks' time unless new investment is found. Dundee are due a tax bill of £365,000, but are thought to have total debts of around £2m. Investor Calum Melville has paid £200,000 into the club lawyer's account to help steer the club through the administration process. And three more instalments of £50,000 will be paid to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs between now and 31 December. "I know a number of people have come forward to pledge funds, which is fantastic," said Melville. "I'm hoping if there is anyone else out there who can help the club financially, they will come forward and do so." With Chisholm and Dodds gone, it is understood that youth coach Barry Smith and full-back Matt Lockwood will be tasked with looking after the first team. It is also understood that the jobs of office staff at Dens Park have been secured until at least the end of the year. "I've been involved in a few highs and lows in football," said former Scotland striker Dodds, who arrived at the club with Chisholm in March. "This is the lowest point in my career. "There is no doubt it's a grim situation and this had to be done for the club to go on. For the club to survive people have to go, it's as simple as that. "But as long as this club survives, that's the main thing, from an overall perspective." Dundee previously entered administration in 2003 but survived and retained their Scottish Premier League status until 2005, when they were relegated. Defender Paton admitted that he felt let down by those running the club. He said: "For a club to go into administration so quickly after coming out of administration, there is no hiding where the problems have lain. "It must have been on the horizon for a wee while but they've still been signing players up to three weeks ago." Paton also suggested that the unpaid tax bill at Dens Park was higher than has been reported. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...dee/9085810.stm

Park Life 71
Steve Stodghill, the Texas lawyer representing the duo, said: "This outcome not only devalues the club but it also will result in long-term uncertainty for the fans, players and everyone who loves this sport because all legal recourses will be pursued. Mr Hicks and Mr Gillett pledged to pay the debt to RBS so that the club could avoid administration that was threatened by RBS. That offer was rejected. "It is a tragic development that others will claim as a victory. This means it won't be resolved the way it should be resolved." Hicks told the Associated Press that his attempts to block the club's sale, which he believes undervalues the club, were blocked by "the British establishment" in collusion with members of Liverpool's board. "This was a conspiracy of the British establishment and our own [club] employees," he said.
Park Life 71
As much as I think Hicks is a bit of a shyster, in his long interview on sky (utube), he comes across quite measured and balanced. Interesting to hear that he had plans and art ready for the new stadium (spent 30m with architects at the end of 2008) and was readying to build a 'world class stadium'. He notes that the world fiancial crisis robbed him of the funds and backing he had in place for the stadium, which had to be put on hold. He also points out that Rafa had the second biggest amount of money to spend only behind man city (SAF also points this out somewhere). I think he has a point in the sense that there was a ;conspiracy' by the board to keep him from getting back into the club even though as he maintains "we had the funds ready to pay the RBS loan off". if the last bit is true, there is a good chance that the 1Billion $ law suit for damages looks more promising than just vengence or payback. Guest Tuco Ramirez
They can thieve anywhere in Europe but the mafioso in Naples is the biggest on the mainland, bad idea to work themselves there. With any other people from these islands I'd subscribe to innocent until proven guilty, guilty till proven innocent with them.
