Christmas Tree 4920
Sometimes you sit around doing sweet fa and sometimes you just have a whale of a day off. 8.00am Morrisons --- Fishing net and bucket 8.15am Whitburn rocks catching crabs and fishies in the rock pools, Sandcastles on the beach. 10.00AM Roker Park (I know) boating lake catching more fishies. 10.30am Souter light to keep a promise to show the bairn where the Fog Horn lived. 11.00am Mangos at Shields, runaround the dunes and up the hill to the Gun Turret to shoot some pirates. 11.45am Marine Park play park and train around the park 12.30pm Chips and Ice creams at the Fair followed by Dodgems and usual rides. 1.30pm Home to take border collie and puppy collie around the fields for a good run. And still not even 3.00pm and a tea-time pub garden to look forward too. Happy Days

Nyff 0
I had quite the opposite day off. Up at ten to blinding subshine, over to the shops for the paper's and back to the garden with the dog and some music playing through the laptop. Sat outside doing nothing in particular until about four, and then a friend came round and we sat outside for the next two hours playing guitar and generally chatting. Even managed to get sun burnt on my arm, but I put that down to the amount of time I was outside rather than the intensity of the heat!
Christmas Tree 4920
That sounds a lot like the day we've got planned for Wednesday. I'm loving the 2-day working week thing Aye its worth planning. It always surprises me how we moan about the weather and then dont take advantage of it when we get great weather. Theres so much to do within an hours drive of Newcastle. Its just a case of getting out and about.
