Rob W 0
Their resident stats guys reckon the AVERAGE PL team is 40% as effective as Chelski The Average ranking of clubs who drop is 22% NUFC & the Baggies are currently rated at 30% in other words a bottom half finish and maybe a struggle next season
Tom 14021
in other words a bottom half finish and maybe a struggle next season Really? I was expecting a top four finish and a cup minimum because we are a massive club and have the best fans and that.

The Fish 11030
pah! what do statisticians know, Im with Tom, Watch out Man U Europe here we come! I fully anticipate, given our showing in the league this year, that UEFA will afford us an extra place in the Champions League (which we'll walk) and strongly suggest that the NUFC squad be shoe-horned into the 2010 World Cup as a wild card side. fucking hell. BigAl 0
If we finish as high as Birmingham have this season then that will be a very successful return to the PL IMO.

Besty 4
@OptaJoe - 62 - 62% of sides promoted to the PL after finishing 2nd in the 2nd tier survive their 1st season, vs 53% for sides finishing top. Silver.
