McFaul 35
Think they'll come up this season like, with or without Bates, very strong rumours they're the latest club to be bought by Arab billionaires. I don't know why you'd buy Leeds before us like.
LoveTheBobby 1
Sat (very quietly) in their main stand when we were down under Gullit . Â "You can stick your sexy football up your arse" Â Torrid bunch . Very primative in the main . Battling with each other in the seats before kick off. Half time was micey as fuck too . I don't know why you'd buy Leeds before us like. Â These rumors have been going round for at least a couple of months now. Â Why would you buy Leeds? One city club with a ground that has potential for expansion and has got planning permission for Casino, Hotel & other leisure facilities. Bates has already had the East stand updated for more corporate stuff and it gets a lot of booking through that. Â These Arab's too, apparently one is a Leeds fan. Guest CabayeAye
Used to live in Harrogate. Lovely place, but the only downside was the nearest city was Leeds. The locals are unbelievably thick. I mean, the average IQ must have been in the low seventies/high sixties. I just can't explain why a place would have such a high percentage of mongs. They have no history of decent support, like seriously, support wise over the history of football they're not much better than Middlesbrough. They had a 10 year period where they were a successful club, and that's Leeds United. Nothing club. Poor fanbase, that's why I wouldn't buy them, you buy Newcastle and they're much much much a sexier Man City overnight.

Lake Bells tits 1
Poo crayon   Was it here I read about a bloke who parked his car near anfield? Had a big dog in it, when he leaves the car a scouser comes over to him - offers to "keep an eye" on the car for 5 quid.  "Thats alright" the bloke replies. " My dog will keep em away"  scouser gives him a long look and replies: " put out fires, can he?" Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and yes, that shite team Leeds. Have you seen their average attendances over the past few seasons, including when they were in League 1? They did pre-season in Cornwall and Devon. They played someone like Bodmin Rangers, they had 2.5k fans there, the same night Norwich had 47 fans at Hull. I have seen their gates over the last few years, they're totally shocking. They've had 10 gates over 30,000 in the last nine years. They have a decent core of away support but given their location and the fact it its the biggest city in Northern Europe with one football team they're utterly abysmal. They should be getting 70,000 every week regardless what division they're in, but they've never had a history of decent support. Very comparable to Boro. Dr Gloom 22147
70k fans every weeks regardless of what division they're in? Howay man, that's just nonsense.
McFaul 35
70k fans every weeks regardless of what division they're in? Howay man, that's just nonsense. How is it nonsense? Leeds is a much bigger city population wise than Liverpool. They get over 80,000 people watching their teams. Leeds is more or less the same size as Tyne&Wear we get 90,000 people watching our teams every week. They should be getting 70,000 gates and that's a fact, but football is not a big thing in Leeds hence they couldn't even sell out when they last won the league and their capacity was 33,000. That's my point Leeds is not about football.

Kid Dynamite 7169
Leeds is also close to decent sized clubs in Huddersfield, Bradford and Barnsley. They are also a massive rugby city and the Rhino's claim 18,000 local fans every week, with the union team claiming another 10,000 fans. Â If NUFC can only average 50k in a city that doesn't give a fuck about any other sports then how the hell do you expect Leeds to get 70,000. Â You don't half talk some shite

It devalues the " " when you follow something with it, when it's not funny. The fact Brevik laughed is telling. If you read what I've written I've mentioned the fact RL is just as big, and their gates are abysmal because of it. They're just not a big club support wise when they should absolutely massive.
Kid Dynamite 7169
So you expect nearly 1 in 10 people to go to the game? Take away the kids, old folks, women and the people who just don't like football and that's pretty unlikely. Â Like I said, it's not an unchallenged catchment area. Huddersfield, Bradford and Barnsley are all within 20miles
