Monroe Transfer 0
Yeah, bit early for the Sir Bobby comparisons, although I understand the underlying sentiment.
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
He definitely has a Bobby Robson aura around him in his personality. A sort of decent proper bloke.

Was the full quote craig Laugh away but to me watching him get interviewed he comes across in that nice decent way that gives you a warm glow. Tends to choose his words carefully. Maybe its just the fact that he's one of those managers that you "like" rather than the Souness, Roeder, Allardyce, Kinnear type of manager who are either full of themselves or full of shite. I always new is we won under Allardyce he would sort of claim all the credit himself, he did this , he did that.....yet if we lost it was always blaming a player etc... Anyway fuck yas all except Tecato (strange name that like)

Thats a very good point and will be the making or breaking of him. Hopefully he'll be on a very good stepped bonus next year for various finishes and Mrs Hughton will be driving him hard
OTF 7492
He's a nice bloke CT noone would deny that, however you could have drawn a comparison between him and your milkman if that was what you were basing the comparison on.

Was the full quote craig So by virtue of the above, you're suggesting that what he has in common with Robson is that he's a 'sort of decent proper bloke'?? Could have picked any number of managers in the league to make that comparison - I'd much prefer he had some of Robson's other, more applicable qualities

Sonatine 11545
Newcastle striker Andy Carroll has appeared in court to deny a nightclub assault. The England Under-21 international is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on his alleged victim Michael Cook in the Blu Bambu club on December 7. He appeared before Newcastle Crown Court to officially enter a not guilty plea. The 6ft 4in forward wore a dark suit, white shirt and black and white striped tie, and signed autographs for fans before the case was heard. His long hair was kept in place with a band. He stood with his hands behind his back as the charge was put to him. His trial will be held before Judge John Milford in October and will last up to four days. Guest alex
I had heard he bought the kid off. I later heard from a better source that he'd tried that and failed.

David Kelly 1260
I've heard there's no way he'll go down for this like. Originally i'd heard they offered the kid £20k but he wanted £80k. Allegedly it's settled now though.
