I've had two texts now, about this and a net message. Newcastle United will always be a laughing stock, there's training ground bust ups I accept that but a fuckin broken hand and a broken jaw. You can take the lad out of Gateshead..... You know if I wasn't a toon fan I'd laugh at how utterly typical of this wankest of clubs. Joke club, everything about us, apart from our loyal fans who face the consequences every single time, but of course it always is and always was our fault.

that is fucking spot on :icon_lol:

On a serious note if this does turn out to be true, Carroll is deep fucking shit what with the case hanging over his head.

Fair point which I'd forgot about.

Typical though isnt it? I suppose things on the pitch were heading in the right direction so something had to be done :icon_lol:

Without Taylor or another member of NUFC staff reporting the incident I can't see the coppers getting involved. Having said that it won't sit well with a potential juror if he goes to trial.

What a load of nonesense this is... The Northern Echo has clearly taken the decision not to mention Carroll in it's piece.

That's despite the author of the article naming Carroll on his Twitter feed last night and the article saying the offending player won't play tonight and then suggesting the following starting XI:

NEWCASTLE (4-4-2): Harper; Simpson, Coloccini, Kadar, Enrique; Routledge, Nolan, Guthrie, Gutierrez; Best, Ranger.

as well as an easily misinterpreted photo of STaylor and Carroll with Nolan between them, almost as if he was separating them... :icon_lol:

This is pretty bad. Carroll has to be sold now in the summer. It could turn out that we are gonna lose one of them. And soon rather seen Carroll walk the walk than Saylor.

Carrolls a Barton/Bellamy mix that I think we should get shot of. tbh goals are worth this much

Taylor likes to think he's a bit of a hard case but strikes me as being soft as shite. On that basis alone I'm assuming it's all true.

Can't see Carroll being dropped seeing as the club are trying to play it all down and pretend it never happened. Especially since we should get as many games out of him as we can before he gets sent down for glassing that kid in Blu Bambu. Allegedly. :icon_lol:

Carroll and Taylor seem to be highly rated so I think we could sell either one of them pretty quickly

David Jones (Sky Sports Presenter) just tweeted:

Prem clubs will be queuing up to take Andy Carroll if Newcastle want to wash their hands of him.

I'm sure those on here in the medical industry will confirm but don't doctors in A&E have a 'duty of care' to report incidents to the police where it clearly has been assault?

The beeb are now reporting the story

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...ted/8582320.stm

Nothing new there.

I agree about PL clubs having a look at Carroll. He's very young/tall/strong and has scored regularly this season and has scored in the Prem too.

No-one's getting sold.

The precedent has been set over and over in the past whether it was Shearer, Barton, Dyer, Bowyer, Woodgate or Carroll.

Nowt will be done.

Based on playing ability alone, I'd be shot of Taylor if I'm honest, but that doesn't take in to account that Carroll is clearly a Gateshead charver who's already smacked a team mate or two.

Aye lets sell glass jaw, not the fella who hit him

they should lock up taylor, hes clearly gone and nutted carrolls hand :icon_lol:

I'm sure that is the case. But without a witness coming forward I personally can't see the police taking the case very far.
