Once promotion is achieved and beyond;

1. Llabia to go into overdrive telling us we would not have achieved promotion withouth big Mike's money, how grateful we should be that we have not done a Pompey and how a spiteful and unreasonable minority of fans are stopping Mike from feeling like the man.

2. Club is up for sale, whether we know it or not, no one buys the @St James' park sponsorship offer.

3. Lot's of talk about 'targets', '£30 million for the right players' and numerous (known) names linked

4. Staylor sold, 2 or 3 other regular players sold, in what is called 'good business sense' or similar.

5. 3 or 4 players brought in on loan or free transfers, 1 or 2 players bought with less money than brought in from sales

6. Intensive summer marketing campaign of new (minging) kit, season tickets and all thing NUFC

7. New seasons starts with squad that may or may not be marginally better

8. Fingers crossed that morale and the core squad can keep us mid table.

9. Club taken off the market after half decent start

10. Fortunately the arse end of the PL is gash, so we finish around 14th and BFMA puts us back on the market as a model club with low wages and manageable debts.

11. Carroll sold to Man City for £18 million

etc

or with any luck, somebody might bring in all these despicable trophy players, qualify for europe with them, and be totally despised for "overspending" or embarrassing us all.

I was wondering if trophyshy would respond ........ as he has indicated in the past he doesn't agree with my view of the old owners and what they did, on what basis though I don't know.

Well. It WAS a reply to you. Are you going to disagree or agree with my comments, reflecting on how our fortunes and expectations have dived in the last few years ?

no, I'm not going to discuss my opinions on this with you, even if I fully agree. You've been on ignore for a long time, I only saw your response to me cos someone else quoted it.

You're in the 'rather be right than happy club', more alien to my sentiments than your average muslim tbh.

you are very, very wrong. I have supported this club since 1964, and the vast majority of those years have seen it run like a corner shop, only raised to anywhere near the level it should be by the Halls and Shepherd.

There is nothing to stop you debating this sensibly with me, I suspect the reason you do not is because you know that I am right. And won't admit it, so who won't admit to being right or wrong ?

Unfortunately for you, I wish it wasn't the case and I would have far preferred Mike Ashley to have done better than they did.

I can see all of that happening. Except the finishing 14th bit.

Hopefully I will be right and the majority will be wrong.

I think they way they've ignored the media and took the sting out of the carrol / Taylor affair has been excellent.

All we need for our first year back is to back Hughtons decisions and let's start filling the squad with right sort of players. Personally I think ( and I know this sounds obvious) that that is half the skill to management.

Get a winning mentality going and we are half way there.

Christ, I don't think I'll be able to take the next nine months of your shite. The whole summer will be filled with endless posts of you assuring us that Fat Mike and Hughton have everything in hand, the transfers will come, never mind those players we're losing as they were the 'wrong' sort of players anyway (as in, they were actually good). Then when the window closes it'll be "we've got to get behind the team, our backing is important, Hughton can keep us up" and then when around Christmans after Hughton is sacrificed and Fat Mike puts the club up for sale again it'll be "don't worry, the takeover will be completed by the end of the week."

Heard it all before. Broken record. Fuck off already.

Yada, yada, yada.

That should be your user name to be fair. ;)

All you do is post meaningless drivel in most of the posts on this board. Usually they are having a snipe at someone and nothing whatsoever to do with the thread.

Still, if it keeps your Legend status up and makes you feel important......

:icon_lol::doh::rolleyes:

(And before you make another meaniless post, NOT rattled, just bored with your predictable contribution).

Well then dont keep reading my posts and commenting on them for fucks sake.

You are definitely the most negative poster on this board, so much so, that I swear you must be a relative of Sam Allardyce.

At least I have opinions, right or wrong, you just constantly spout shit without any attempt at a reasonable argument.

Im sure you actually hope all of your post comes true. If it doesnt, dont forget to come back on and give some credit to those you constantly slag off.

In the meantime :icon_lol: , ;) and
