Football Fanatic 0
Or you could just syndicate RSS feeds to ensure you get only sites that are relevant and useful... No app, no hassles, control over what sites get included etc etc That's all true but one of the points of the app is that we save you all that 'work' - the app sits on your desktop and gets updated whenever new articles come through so you don't actually have to go on the websites to look for news. Also, as the app develops there will be new features added such as the option to leave comments which I've mentioned before Atm, we pulling news from Nufc.co.uk, Chronicle Live, The Journal, BBC, nufcblog.org, Times Online - the app's been launched only for a couple of days so we'll include more sites, including blogs. Craig 6700
Well I've given it a whirl to see what it's like - don't see what it offers more than newsnow but then I guess it's marketed as an alternative rather than something different.

Been using this for years. I also use NewsNow and this tool isn't likely to get me to deviate from it. But I can see it's benefit as an alternative - particularly to those who like the desktop widgets idea in Vista and Win7. Fair play to them it's a neat tool. tipstar 0
Cheers Craig and thanks for the compliments Geordie lad! The application is actually a lot faster than NewsNow for pulling in information, by about 20 mins on average. The point is that you dont have to keep going to the other aggregators, but each to there own. We're actually developing the product a lot further, so we will be pushing out newer versions with community tools built in. So it will become more than just an news feed. For those of you that have downloaded it (about 500 people so far), I hope you enjoy it and we look forward to your feedback.
peasepud 59
It screwed my machine up or at least the download of Adobe Air did. App appeared to download but I then get an irritating Adobe Air error message popping up every 30 seconds. Only way to stop it is to close the App.
