Not saying you're being paranoid, but I don't think he's trying to score out-of-towner points here, Leazes.

Lewisham Deptford here, for what it's worth. Outside the big three, we've got a Green who thinks he has a chance but doesn't, plus a Socialist Alternative candidate (two of their five local councillors nationwide are in this constituency) and a Christian Peoples Alliance nutjob.

We all know you'll jiust vote for the best looking one. :D

I wouldn't mind, but I am, and she's a lass. :D

What's your constituency LM? Have they got much alternative to the main 3?

yes we have a fair few alternatives but tbh after many years and elections, you realise they are all self centred whichever party they represent, you become oblivious to it all, if that is the right word.

A bit like too many modern footballers........

Having said that, as I said earlier, half the world would kill to vote and it is almost criminal if people in this country don't see the value of that.

And the constituency is?

haven't you done an ip check :D

I'm hoping to move back home later in the year/next year.......

Meenzer is right, I'm not point-scoring at all, I'm genuinely interested as to where you're voting and the chances that UKIP and BNP have in that area.

No IP check - what's the point in finding out where your ISP is based? :D

So where are you voting?

When is Gordon Brown's mandate going to be why we should vote for Labour rather than why we shouldn't vote for Conservatives?

That's all he's got left now. It's particularly pathetic when he responds to a point made by Clegg by attacking Cameron.

Cameron's started this one well actually, despite his freakily shiny chin. Clegg was strong on income tax just now though.

He is very shiny isn't he? He reminds me of a fatter, older Schumacher brother.

He looks far too much like that arrogant, cheating bastard for my liking... think it's why I'm so wary...

The question that needs to be asked is 'does he think that angle makes him electable?'

Everyone's view is different but they're leaders... they need to be telling us why we feel that they should lead the country as well as their party. Brown simply isn't doing that IMO - it's almost like "i'm not that good, but he's worse..."

It won't win my vote.

Giving an amnesty to illegal immigrants is a horrendous idea.

Indeed. Clegg has lost the plot on that one.

It sends out the wrong message. It's a vote loser and not what Joe Public wants to hear (because they're bigots aren't they Gordon?)

Clegg floundering a bit tonight imo.

Brown's having a decent enough night imo. Clegg and Cameron have both struggled.

I think Cameron has done ok. The make-up woman has gone to town on him mind.

Yeah I think both Brown & Cameron have done well tonight in the grand scheme of things. Clegg has been a bit of a disaster.

Cameron's closing speech was just trying too hard, Brown made too many stumbles.

Clegg deserves it on just not being either of them, but our voting system won't allow it.

Fear for the next year of fuck all progress tbh.

Browns came across as a despreate man constantly sniping at the other two and giving very little info on his four year to half the debt plan.... my money is on at massive VAT hike.

It's a common sense idea to collect tax from illegals that are working rather than spending money on keeping them....but you're right, that old gadgie that got called a bigot doesn't want to hear that.

An opinion poll for the Sun has found more people thought none the worse of Gordon Brown for describing a Labour voter as a "bigoted woman", than believed he was a hypocrite – but the newspaper decided not to publish the figures.

The survey, carried out yesterday, also showed that just 9% of the 527 people polled said the episode was less likely to make them vote Labour, while 3% said it was more likely to make them vote Labour. The overwhelming majority – 83% – said it would not affect their voting intentions.

The Sun's failure to run the results is likely to be seized upon by critics of the paper who have accused it of not publishing the details of polls that are unfavourable to the Conservatives. The Sun announced it was backing the Tories, after 12 years of support for Labour, in September last year. Last week the Lib Dems accused the paper of suppressing the results of a YouGov poll that showed that if people thought Nick Clegg's party had a significant chance of winning the election, it would win 49% of the votes, with the Tories winning 25% and Labour just 19%.

The Sun also decided not to publish the details of another poll taken yesterday that was favourable to the Lib Dems. It showed that 29% of people thought the Lib Dems were being the most honest about spending cuts, compared to 26% who named the Conservatives and 21% who plumped for Labour.
