Never been to Stoke nor have i met anyone from there so i cant comment on what the people are like "stereotypically".

But iv always thought that there is always a loud and pretty good atmosphere at the brittania stadium.

For me he can stay as long as he keeps a lid on his blatant racism. I never called for him to be banned or anything of the sort. I just think it's a bit pathetic how he's now trying to pretend that the entire board doesn't know who he is.

Thanks , well it's not officially me, well I suppose it is now.

 

Less said the better is all I'm going to say. I liken it to rule changes in football, FIFA can't change the rules by themselves. There are eight voting members the IFA, SFA, FA and WFA, and four from FIFA, six need to vote in favour for something to be passed, so in effect Britain has the right to veto any rules changes in football they don't want.

 

The thread "Stevie", I had a good laugh at that, plenty knifes going in, but plenty nice comments too. The Fish's comments in that thread beggar belief in particular, but I don't need to repeat what a total wanker that bloke is down to the very fibre of his being.

 

Back to the thread about Stoke. Some comments on their board its even worse than I thought..

Was listening to 5live after the match and two Arsenal fans came on saying we were singing "hes only got one leg"? I for one didnt hear that. Did anyone else? Or were they just bullshitting? ???

This was the final straw for me I'm not renewing in the South Stand - I'd rather sit in the John Smiths!

I never subscribed to the "we have a higher proportion of knuckle draggers than other clubs" school of thought until this season being in the South Stand.

Nearly got into a fight with 4 or 5 dicks in front of me for taking them to task for singing this fortunately a policeman saw what was happening and intervened!

Some w@nkers in the Boothen were 'singing time to go.' What a bunch of tit's.

Even me Owd Man gave em a wanker gesture and that's the first time i've ever 'seen' him swear!

 

It was happening all around me in Block 19, particularly rows 30(ish) upwards. Alternating between "he's only got 1 leg" and "he's got a broken leg"

 

I try to avoid 19 but for this game it was the only place I could get tickets and KI wanted to see the game and try to drown

 

I was just sickened by what was happening, all the obvious glee and delight

 

In 45 years of following football I've seen a lot of things but actual visible delight at someone's misfortune is the lowest of the low

 

and as for the dark-haired woman, about 30, in Row 35 or 36, around about seat 245/6 - your moronic ( presumably pissed-up ) shouting made you look an utter fuckwit, and I bet the young kid with you was right proud of his Mum

but I know one thing for certain, I never called for your banning, and noted that you hadn't done anythiing in the public domain that was worthy of censure recently.

That's right, but I can't ever imagine anyone in St James' doing any of that, certainly not en masse, you'd feel obliged to hit someone singing about someone with a broken leg. There is a paralell actually when Colin Walsh (Charlton) broke his leg in front of the corner someone hit him with a coin, but that was 20 odd years ago.

The Old Vic Theatre is quite good - although ironically I think that actually might be in Newcastle (Under Lyme).
