Shit. Seriously, can we at least make that picture into a link so I can browse the thread without wanting to throw up? I can't stand looking at bad injuries at all

Hopefully he can make a full recovery to football and at least have a career in it ;)

Photographs can be deceptive and looking at this one posted by Kevin gives the impression that that Ramsay's leg had gone before contact had been made by Shawcross.

actually in the photo ramseys bottom half is now travelling away from shawcross after being absolutely hammered by him

Was listening to Talksport earlier this evening and they had Matt Scott from the Guardian on (who just happens to be an Arsenal fan... :D) who backed Wenger's claim that Arsenal players are targeted by clubs more so than any other club!!

He then went on to suggest that in a World Cup year, all Premiership refs show favouritism to English players! ;)

Also said that when Parker played for us, he challenged Joe Cole so hard he sent the latter into a somersault. I do remember that challenge and my mind might be playing tricks on me but what I remember is Parker going in hard but winning the ball 100%.

What a load of absolute bollocks - when they started to challenge his views and asked if he truly believed there was a consipiracy against Arsenal, he changed into a stuttering mess!

You don't see the warning when you click on the thread straight from the forum homepage. Even so, I would quite like to read what people are saying without wretching at the picture :D

The moral of the story is not to listen to journalists when they appear as a pundit. It's like a gob-shittery competition to try and con the average punter in to buying their paper.

FWIW - It's a studs down, genuine attempt to play the ball. That kind of tackle happens all of the time, it's just unfortunate for both players that this time it lead to a horrible injury.

Without the injury it's probably a yellow card.
