He looks more productive for us than either were. Admittedly in a weak division (and milner is playing better for villa than he ever did for us) and I'm pissed. Not saying he will do great but he's always showed potential and still has a chance. Btw for the money he will be on is good enough for what our ambitions should be. As it's back up money. We shouldn't be spending £30k a week on any player at the moment. I hate Ashley and Dekka and think the previous regeime looks much better now than I thought at the time but this is clearly the case now (if caused by the cuurent boards poor management) and sensible and good business. Your "arguments" are so filled with holes it's barely there at all, any more. you are fast becoming of the mentality of the wankers on NO who disagreed with me all the time ie you are disagreeing with me because it is me when you know perfectly well what my point is and you also know I am right. The players we have signed lately on 3.5 year contracts tell you what ambition the club has for the next 3.5 years, stop trying to be a smartarse. You know perfectly well what my point is, as do others. There are no "holes" in this. The club is showing a criminal lack of ambition, but I always knew that replacing the Halls and Shepherd with similar ambitious owners would be difficult. It is the overewhelming majority who disagreed with what I said who were always talked bollocks. I can understand some of the younger ones, but the older ones like Noelie, and Rob W, for instance, should have understood what I was saying. Gejon 2 Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Don't see the problem with giving the likes of Routledge, Williamson and Simpson 3.5 year contracts (jury is out on Best), all 3 will be very decent back up at worst and none will have broken the bank in terms of wages or transfer fee's. I doubt we could have got better in our current position and they will help us get back up. Not an Ashley fan at all but some seem to need to turn everything he does into a negative. It is also quite apparent that when he is asked to prove his statements he goes off on a tangent and puts himself in a position that indicates just how pathetic he can be at trying to prove his lies. I would have thought by now that LeazesMag would have, should have, arrived at the conclusion that locking horns with old Noelie in a battle of words could only end up with him being gored and trying to stop his bleeding with blood thinners. My advice to LeazesMag is never pick on old Noelie, never make statements about people he can't prove, and seek the help he needs to combat his inane logic and truth twisting.
