How the fuck am I supposed to spot that?? All I get is 'updates to be installed' or some such shite. I can't recall ever being asked if I want to download a load of jiggerypokery lettas and numbas

nothing to worry about unless you are running a hacked version of windows7, due to the rise in hacked versions microsoft released this which will exploit hacks and basically lock your system until you buy a genuine copy. If your running a legit copy, no worrys.

It will start with authenticity checks on Ms products but is tagged to phone in on other stuff on your machine as time goes on.

Should I register? I've always thought doing so would just add me to their database or some such - something I want to avoid if possible. Especially as I'm CIA (I guess an alert has just gone off at Langley, after using those initials. Hi guys, how's it going??). Anyway, should I register without any fear? Thanks. Parky's rule of thumb is never register anything, but also don't tell the box you never intend to register ie always check later.
