Craig 6700
Following on from Terry's post match rage last night.... John Terry breathalysed as security guard is injured in car accident after Chelsea's defeat to Inter Milan John Terry was breathlaysed after damaging the leg of a security guard he knocked over in his Range Rover after Chelsea's Champions League exit to Inter Milan. Attempting to drive away from Stamford Bridge late on Tuesday night, Terry's car was surrounded by photographers, leaving him at a standstill. Chelsea's security team eventually managed to clear room for Terry to move forward but as he drove on at a snail's pace, his Range Rover collided with the man's leg. Despite a police statement, it is believed that the man's leg was badly bruised - rather than broken - in the incident. A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'Police were called at 23.13 on Tuesday March 16 to Stamford Bridge to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian. 'London Ambulance Service and Police attended where a 35-year old male was found with a broken leg. He has been taken to a west London hospital where he is in a stable condition. 'The driver of a dark coloured 4x4 car failed to stop at the scene. No arrests were made though enquiries into the incident continue.' Terry's spokesman Phil Hall confirmed Terry was breathalysed in the early hours of Wednesday morning at his home in Surrey. Hall told goal.com: 'John was coming out of the car park and he was surrounded by paparazzi photographers. He was not driving very fast and a security guard waved him through. There were some fans there and they were telling the photographers to get out of the way.' Hall claimed that Terry was unaware that he had hit the man until he was called by the club later in the evening. He added: 'John volunteered to go to the police station, and was breathalysed in his home at 1.30am.' NJS 4411
I can't see how a car being driven at snails pace through a crowd could break a leg like.

Craig 6700
Specific injury aside, for him not to realise he's hit someone and driven off is ridiculous. I don't care if it's a Range Rover, if you hit any person you're going to know about it. Failing to stop after an accident is a criminal offence is it not? If he's going very slowly through a crowd of people, and anxious to avoid a baying mob, it might be difficult to notice. He's still a twat though. ewerk 31202
So after all the furore surrounding his shagging exploits, his brown envelopes to provide tours of the Chelsea training ground, his attempt to make a few quid by selling his Wembley box on the black market, it looks like he's going to get the captaincy back. Monroe Transfer 0
Permanently too. Capello - who had been made to look a clown himself with his Index nonsense - has lost my remaining respect for doing this.

Craig 6700
Captain John Terry wants Chelsea to sign Luka Modric Chelsea captain John Terry says Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric would be a great signing for the club. Modric, 25, is thought to have handed in a transfer request at Spurs after they turned down an improved second £27m bid from the Blues. "He's a world-class player who is very difficult to play against," said Terry. "He's agile, quick and a great finisher like we've seen over many years. "We've got a good squad. If he comes he could certainly add to that." Spurs have told Modric, who is only 14 months in to a six-year deal at White Hart Lane, that he is not going anywhere, but the Croatian's name continues to be linked with Chelsea. Terry added: "He has his own problems at the moment. "It's probably a little bit disrespectful to Spurs... [to talk about the situation]" Terry was speaking during Chelsea's pre-season tour of Asia, where they will play a Malaysian All-Star XI on Thursday before taking part in a similar match in Thailand three days later.
