LeazesMag 0
Football Scout. Paid to go around the world and watch football matches? Sign me up. this and if you are a good judge of a footballer like me it helps too. Stevie in the next post has a corker idea too, covering NUFC like John Gibson and getting presumably well paid for it too.

Based around the pawn shop idea but fitted out to a high retail standard and shops usually sited in more primary positions rather than back streets. The idea has several income streams from loans, pawn broking, cheque cashing, money wiring etc etc. It is a very good franchise if you have a spare 150,00 to 200,000 Edited January 27, 2010 by Christmas Tree

Gibson will be on good wedge, as he's been there an eternity and comes from an age when journalists pay was not a joke. Anybody starting up in journalism should expect to struggle to make ends meet. The above is why I no longer have my dream job. Which opens up the debate, can it be a dream job if you are struggling to pay the bills?

I think there is an inherant pleasure in running your own business that compensates for haphazard renumaration. When I worked for a company I made twice as much money but had little time to myself and found the whole experience much less rewarding.

Alot of the writers for my magazine are struggling to get a job let alone make ends meet. Its sad as some of those who graduated last year have yet to find any work. Richie J 0
once I get my P.Eng. I am going to start my own business, register it anyway and start designing/project managing custom homes for people, I've been keeping a folder of ideas for this for the last 2-3 years and I have been building a scale model of my first design which uses old shipping containers as the main building material. Sounds belter... I reckon it's be great to be part of a start up business like that. you won't be needing a thermal engineer by any chance, will you?! Really cool idea Tooner... As for me, my dream job would be a starring role on Mythbusters. That'd be perfect for me. Get to do all kinds of cool science-y type experiments, acquire that perfect level of fame where you're on TV and you have some fans, but you can still go to the grocery store without an armored detail accompanying you... man, that'd be the bomb.
