Got an HP netbook for me christmas. Windows 7 starter (whatever the fuck that means)

 

I cannit get any waallpaper on the screen. As you know, one normally right clicks on a picture and uses the 'use as background' (or whatever it's called) option. This doesn't work.

 

Soooo, I go into the Control Panel, and there's no change wallpaper option.

 

Soooo, I go into the help menu and it says to enter 'change wallpaper' in the Search window of the Control Panel window. It comes up with 'nothing found'.

 

Any thoughts ???

Its been deliberately crippled so it can run on really low spec pc's and netbooks.

 

Lots of functionality has been removed.

The way you used to have to do it way back in the day (like prior to 98 second ed) was Control Panel>> Display>> Desktop>> then browse to your pictures.

 

Probably won't work, but might be worth a peek.

My colleague surfed t'internet last night and found a program to download. So, I downloaded it and, hey presto, I can now have pictures of naked ladies for me wallpaper ;) Nice
