Before you turn your nose up, you can basically get a nice caravan in some nice locations which can add a few extra holidays to the calender year. I've used them a lot as a family and there canny if a few lads or lasses want a cheap "head down". Every April we use this to go to the lake district for a four night midweek break. The park is in grange over sands, about 8 miles drive from Windermere so you are pretty close for some great days out. They start from #9.50 a person but the minimum fee is #39 which is what it usually costs us. They have parks all over the country, france, spain and Italy. (Being to the montpellier one a few times which is nice and hot) http://www.haven.com/parks/index.aspx Even if you cant bring yourself to buy the sun to get the free tokens, others do and then sell them on Ebay in about 10 days time for a tenner. Craig 6702 Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Having stayed in one a few years back I can safely say that although they may be 'nice' in an aesthetic sense of the word, they have fuck all insulation and therefore even in the height of summer, you freeze your jacobs off during the night!
