Shorty 0
As a Leicester resident (not by choice) I feel obliged to let you guys know that goings on around these parts. 1) Leicester is surprisingly full of Forrest fans. Make sure you show the badge and tell them it’s all gonna go tits up for them! 2) If you’re coming from the station PLEASE cover your shirts etc. the Leicester bobbies are notorious for being a little heavy handed and they will frogmarch you to the ground 3 hours early! Incidentally the walk from the station to the ground is about 20 mins, taking you past the Leicester Tigers ground (boo) and my house 3) Do avoid the pub show above. It’s called the counting house and it’s not very good. There is a Morrisons next door though for those who like a swift can on the way to the match 4) Pubs to go to: Barley Mow – great little boozer, tonnes of sports fans in their, 4 Everards ales on usually – 2 mins from the station Time (bar) – not 100% sure if it’s available to away fans but if so there’s 3 pool tables, well priced beer and it’s HUGE so plenty of places to spread out – next door to the station The Last Plantagenet – It’s a Weatherspoons. But it does the job – 5 mins from station The Orange Tree – Well kept ales, quaint bar, FULL OF STUDENTS! So it’s cheap and there’s plenty of talent to look at – right in the city center next to the Highcross Shopping Center Ale Wagon – 5 ales on rotation, off the beaten track somewhat so away fans won’t be hassled, but still in the center of the city Walkabout – nothing you haven’t seen before but it’s handy to get to and more than welcomes away fans. 5 mins from station The Globe – it’s the furthest away from the ground – a good 30 min walk but it’s worth it their top ale selection and their famous sausage sarnies! The Drydock – It’s a boat on pillars basically. Near a student area so make of that what you will. It’s the closest of the pubs mentioned to the ground. Apart from the obvious feature… nothing to report! There’s no pubs within 10 minutes of the ground apart from the Counting House (avoid) and the Halftime orange which is home fans only. So do your drinking

donaldstott 0
The chron have dug out a couple of video of Van Arnholt. Whilst experience suggests Youtube isn't the greatest method of assessing a footballer he certainly is quick and likes to go forward.
