Things such as "70% of 229 women agree" which means that 68 women didnt think that it worked! Or the classic that appears on the Cheryl Cole ad is when they say about how it makes your hair something like 50% shinier...... the small print then says "compared to unwashed hair". When I was making ads I used to be constantly down London at the advertising standard authority trying to get them to let us remove some of the stupid wording they would insist on. As this wording has to stay on screen for a regulated number of seconds it made life very complex. Basically a bunch of pen pushers with rulers and red tape. The thing that pisses me off is at the end, it freezes and shows the product (MilkyBar with raisans), and the slogan states 'Ungrow up'. Are they fucking mad? MilyBars previously looked and tasted like a childrens chocolate bar, their latest offering is a pathetic attempt of rebranding a product. Astonishing.
