I'm too young to remember that what happened there with Thatcher? The dutch are an arrogant race I think, the one thing that I think of in the 80's growing up was someone on telly saying "no bliicks!"

Strictly speaking its Boers rather than Dutch.

Basically all of the commonwealth countries wanted to impose sanctions on SA - as a sop Thatcher agreed to stop the trade in Krugerrands in London whcih was a token gesture - something like £25m pa.

So at the press conference with her typically arrogant tone she made it clear it was pointless by saying "Do you know how much the trade is worth? - this much" and showed her thumb and forefinger together along with a sneer that you could say was like Jenna Jameson demonstrating what she thought of a Mackem's cock.

She's a disgrace did no one tell these mugs everyone pisses and shites the same?

I thought you liked Thatcher. I'm sure you've posted something to that effect on here before

I think the reforms she made in this country were for the long term good of the nation, we couldn't sustain the industries which were dominating the economy long term, but she was arrogant and this gesturs NJS was on about oh dear.

Distinctly remember that map as well. I also remember something along the lines of: "Prince has never heard of Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson or Little Richard" which has stuck in my mind for some reason.

If they had've brung it in this country what would we do about Bradford and Tottenham away?

You should put this quote under 'irony' in the dictionary

Other countries including Germany still have those industries.

There may be an argument that some of the things she did were right but the lack of thought for the immediate consequences of those changes and the delight she took was devestating.

It could also be argued that her destruction of industry was not borne out of a long-term cost-benefit appraisal of the fiscal impact of subsidising nationalised industry but out of a destire to destroy the unions and create a paradigm shift to the right in British politics.

I think the latter is her real legacy, making Britain leaner and more competitive is as simple as saying 'lets not pass laws to regulate things'.

The Spitting Image annuals used to be quality btw.

:ithankyou:

I'd forgotten about this. This map was class because of the amount of subliminal stuff in there - every time you looked at it you noticed something else. Like all the slithers of country bordering a bigger land mass being classed as 'Portugal' Not to mention where they stuck Moscow

Everyones the same? But Bradford is full of Pakis and Spurs is full of Jews?

Ok then

No Tottenham's full of blacks, NOT that that's a bad thing. There's no such place as "Spurs". Who do you think is less intelligent than you on here? Honest question. Do me a list.

Why use a racist term, have you no dignity? "The irony :ithankyou:"

If its not a bad thing why did you vote BNP?

You always know he's lost when he resorts to this. Like the Indians being dragged from their tents in Kenya by the Tsavo's.

Donno but they had some shit policies.

The National Party government implemented, alongside apartheid, a programme of social conservatism. Pornography, gambling and other such vices were banned. Cinemas, shops selling alcohol and most other businesses were forbidden from operating on Sundays.

How draconian. Sounds like the UK 15 years ago.

Aye but a pretty warped one which segregates believers of the same faith.

Resort to what? A simple question? Youre a walking contradiction on here when it comes to race, colour and creed

Wacky, you obviously read the article, can you sum it up for me please?

Go away no one likes you and you're a nob, I can't sum it up better than that. Even Craig called you a nob, and he's only ever abused me apart from you to my knowledge. Just a bullied at school irritation of a kid. You're the like The Fish in some respects but less aware of what you are.

I dont come on here to be liked. In fact one of the reasons I stick around is to constantly remind you when you contradict yourself. Does the fact that youre the only other person on here that Craig has abused not tell you something

Well Craig snapped at a bad time for him because I was winding him up big time, and I wouldn't have done had I known he was going through a rough time. He's never really had a go at me for anything else, minor footballing disagreements and discussions at a higher level than you could possibly have but nothing else. He's called you a nob, because in his heart that's what he believes you are. I know some right pricks, but from what I know of you none of them are as boring, repetitive, idiotic without any convictions in their views like you are. You're a message board noise, with nothing to say.

Save your breath Stevie, youre opinion is worthless to me. You dislike me. I dont mind. If I compiled a list of religions, races, nationalities, sexualities, regionalities etc. that you have stated a dislike for I think I would be in the majority!

A bit less hate and a little more love in your life would open your eyes to a whole new world Stevie

Abused? :ithankyou:

I called you a nob because that's exactly what you are. Your entire reason for being on here appears to be that you want to trip people up all the time over their own comments. More often than not it reflects badly on you and then when someone dares to point out the irony of when you've tripped yourself up you claim that you're being 'picked on'.

If you'd have anything about you, you'd know damned well I've had more run-ins on this forum than just with you and Stevie. Papa L, Renton & Leazes Mag immediately spring to mind - all of whom (and Stevie for that matter) I get on with fine nowadays.

I've got very little hate in me, maybe a touch of scorn towards certain peoples but never against individuals. I work for a company with 8 different nationalities, some black people, the gaffa is a Sikh, and there's even two muslims I get on with all of them. My main problem with you, is you're a robot, the finest people in microsoft could make a computer program with more personality, you neither understand humour, wind ups or indeed the irony and the meaning of the word you often quote. As for opening my eyes to a whole new world, this coming from a lad who doubtless has left the county of Durham to come to Newcastle and that's it  . You're a small town boy, that much is shiningly obvious. This coming from the lad who thinks there is a town called Spurs. Honestly when you post something interesting, endearing or funny I will let you know.
