In contrast to the 1970s when nearly 80% of British people of Caribbean origin were in the lowest socioeconomic groups, the figure is just over 22%. The proportion of whites stuck in these groups is 25%. So if there is positive discrimination, it seems whites are the people that should benefit from it.
