Rob W 0
Taylor injury blow for Newcastle Steven Taylor Steven Taylor statistics Newcastle defender Steven Taylor could be out of action from between eight to 10 weeks with a shoulder injury. The 19-year-old, who has been a regular in the Magpies team this season, hurt his shoulder while playing for the England Under-21s last week. "It's a blow to us. The specialist says he will be out longer than first anticipated," manager Graeme Souness told the club website. "It's about eight to 10 weeks, but I'm confident he will be back before that." Taylor, who has made 16 starts this season, has been playing alongside Frenchman Jean-Alain Boumsong in the heart of defence as a result of the pre-season injury to Titus Bramble. "It's a shame for him as he was in possession of the shirt, and these things happen," added Souness. "It's the risk you take when players go away on international duty. "You hope they come back fine. It hasn't happened this time, but that's the way it goes.'

Optimistic Nut 154
As long as Bramble & Boumsong stay fit, I don't think this will hurt us as much as people think/expect.
Tooj 17
well let's hope Titus and Jean can resume the partnership of last season
Bombadil 0
As long as Bramble & Boumsong stay fit, I don't think this will hurt us as much as people think/expect. 56475[/snapback] Bramble is very injury prone though, I don't think he will go ten weeks without missing at least a few matches through injury. It's a blow for us.

Neither player is in that sort of form at the moment. Hopefully that will change if they both stay fit.
Smooth Operator 10
Ramage is a centre half is he not, therefore if Carr is back fit we've got decent cover for now, thank fuck Moore is injured still or he might have been dangerously close to the first team. David Kelly 1245
The pairing of Boumsong and Bramble might hopefully kick start both of their seasons again after a mixed start. It is a worry though that they both tend to pick up injuries fairly regularly and after them we are down to Elliott and kids who are untried. Papa Lazaru 0
For once if we get an injury can we not just from the start have it all simple and sorted out. Every time we get an injury its either covered up, wrongly diagnosed, changed about 3 times or similar. Look at Taylor, if you followed it from the start he was initially thought to be out for about a month, that quickly became its not as bad as first thought, probably make the Chelsea game, Then it was not quite ready for Chelsea and now its 8-10 weeks...but with Souness saying he'll be back sooner!!! Can you imagine hearing a toon player is injured say on monday, on tuesday they're checked out mediaclly and on wednesday they give us the time out and it not only remians unchanged but its actually correct!!!! Django Reinhardt 0
Does anyone know what's actually wrong with Craig Moore? Has it been the same injury he's been out with all this time? Edit: In the meantime look what I found: http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~729891,00.html Edited November 16, 2005 by Django Reinhardt
manc-mag 1
As the last remaining person not to have been duped by the supposed 'new Bobby Moore', this actually troubles me very little.

If not for them you'd have given over to the lad's blatant genius.

rikko 20
SSN reporting that taylor thinks he'll be back in about 6 weeks. I think they are just pulling these injury time estimates out of their arses or something.
