Guest Stevie
I saw various things about your dyed in the wool Aussies being pissed off because the second and third generation Italian and Hrvastki immigrants were passionately supporting the opposite side to the country of their birth. Whereas nobody would ever be pissed off by British-born Algerians celebrating the latter's qualification in Trafalgar Square. Oh wait... I wasn't criticising it I'm just offering explanations for the levels of interest. How many people of Algerian descent live in England?

Guest Stevie
Actually to really bring this to an end, I hazard a bet that Stevie besides knowing nothing other than his few made up facts, hasn't been to a competitive England (1st team) match in the last 5 years, if ever?Come on Stevie, give us your first hand knowledge of the roar as England runs out. I haven't, in fact the last England game I was at, at Wembley was before they knocked it down, against Germany, the most memorable thing being the scouser on my right telling me I really hated Hamann didn't I? Obviously. The last England game I was physically at was against Albania at SJP that must be about 7 years ago, but I have been to two major tournaments. What the fucks that got to do with anything? What made up facts? Australia, NZ, SA and USA at a World Cup oh dear. You might as well call it the Commonwealth Games. Too many non football countries there for my liking, they'll take 10,000 between them, them three. I will copy and paste this in July, and am never normally this confident, but England will win the World Cup, there I've said it. Again showing your ignorance. What is the most played sport in Australia? Yeah see you were wrong - again. Most played and most watched are two seperate things. When Australia or NZ score the sound, I mean it's like Mick Jagger's just come on stage, rather than a proper football roar. They'll never be football countries. Oh dear. Look fuckin Aussie, I've easily been to 500 + Newcastle games, because they're my local club, I've easily been to 15 England because they're my country, and you're insuating I don't know what a crowd sounds like. Your country is a footballing minnow, who's best player plays for Everton, and I for one hope we get you in the groups and stuff you, and fuckin seeing that prick Shane Warne, and other arrogant Australian cunts (is there another type?) looking depressed. Oh Stevie you are so my hero. You know what? I've traveled around the world on three separate occasions to see my team play, including Europe games. I've traveled around the world and spent six weeks living out of a van to watch my nation play. I regularly travel the length of Britain again to watch them play. I donate my time to run an amateur club that has over 500 members (a 60-40 split of kids to adults unlike your earlier insinuation), I coach a kids and an adult's team. I run off season training days to further encourage kids to play the sport. I support my home club as best I can although I care more about the Tyne one and I even played for the Wollongong Wolves. So Stevie, you aren't anything special - except in how much of a bigot and imbecile you are happy to portray yourself as on the internet.

Park Life 71
Qualifiers HOSTS: South Africa AFRICA QUALIFYING: Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria ASIA QUALIFYING: Australia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea EUROPE QUALIFYING: Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland SOUTH AMERICA QUALIFYING: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay NORTH, CENTRAL AMERICA AND QUALIFYING: Honduras, Mexico, United States ASIA/OCEANIA PLAY-OFF New Zealand Back on topic. What will the seeding/rankings be? IMHO they should be: Pot 1: England, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, Chile, Cameroon Pot 2: Australia, USA, Mexico, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ghana, Argentina Pot 3: Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Denmark, France, Portugal, Slovakia, Uruguay Pot 4: South Africa, Algeria, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Greece, Slovakia, Honduras, New Zealand I think this sums up why it will never be a first class sport there too, when a genuine fan of the game comes up with the above. Some beauties in there. Chile seeded above Argentina, Cameroon seeded two pots above 2006 finalists France, regular Asian Cup Winners Korea, and 2004 European Champions Greece, seeded below first time entrancees Slovakia. Oh dear. I have to say this: Stevie you ignorant, brainless cunt - it's not about the last WC or who won what back in the day, it's about current form and rankings. See that's why you will be never be anything other than an clueless, opinionated, pathetic excuse for a human. You sure you don't work for FIFA? They change the process every other World Cup you arsehole. As for the FIFA rankings basing the seedings on them has been done before, but they're so dated it's not true. I mean about 6 years ago they had USA ranked 6th I think, they had to alter them, they did, but as was pointed out the ELO rankings are more accurate. Also in previous WC's the host automatically is a top seed you tool, as is the PREVIOUS winner of the competition. As for current form, Greece have been in two of the last three tournaments winning one, their current form is excellent and they're well above Slovakia in the seedings, stick to watching Geelong and fuckin Wollagong Wolves. I wasn't attaching any great significance to it. If you want to discuss competitive matches though we didn't exactly massively outshine a side that had Craig Moore in it at the last World Cup either, did we? I think if you're from a backward countryside place like Chester Le Street or Lincoln, you're never going to like London. I think most people from Northern places, go there for the first time determined to fulfill their preconceived ideas that London is a shithole full of ignorant rude people.
