Got this (for PC) yesterday and am hooked already. It runs a bit slow on my laptop but it's the business and no mistake. I've heard it's properly long as well, not like these 12-hour-wonder 'top' games they seem to be spewing out these days.

for anyone who fancied it but wasnt sure it is now on sale on shopto for £15!

http://www.shopto.net/XBOX%20360/VIDEO%20G...%20Origins.html

I'm in this catergory Andrew, not really payed much attention to RPGs when growing up, but always acknowleged they were better games than what I was playing as a child. The only RPG that I was gripped by, and to some extent addicted to was Oblivion (which you could've guessed). But no doubt I have been intrigued to play this because it seems more focused on character development than Bioware's latest offering ME2, which in my opinion is barely an RPG.

Is it acessible and, and how long is the learning curve?

TIA.

it is accessible yes, its got a good tutorial system for those not familiar with the game that lets you find your way around at a good pace, to origins stories also give a good level of learning since they're character introductions letting you move around unthreatened a lot and suchlike

learning curve wise its really up to you, there are difficulty settings that actually explain themselves in game which you can switch between, you dont choose one at the start and get stuck with it

its got massive online support too http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Age_Wiki is an awesome resource if you're struggling with anything

the DLC is good, as is the expansion after youve finished the main game all give a good few extra hours of play, for £15 man its a winner

Im stuck :D

Im in the werewolves den or something, its like a ruin? Ive just done the thing with the small fountain and jug on the alter. Now go down the corridor, get jumped by to skeltons, easy enough but then about 6-8 more? How the fuck do you get past them? My party gets wiped out.

that fight is tough as hell, its not essential to the storyline its actually to unlock a badass piece of armour, what party are you using?
